Dr Byron Long did eyelid surgery on me about six weeks ago. The before and after pictures show a remarkable improvement. Cataract surgery by another practice damaged a nerve on the side of my face, making it sag. Dr. Long was able to repair both droopy eyelids and even raised one eyebrow to match the other one by lifting one eyelid and adding stitches inside to raise the lid with no external suitures or scar! Simply amazing. I told him he was the only person I know who could make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. I’ve been told I look 20 years younger, and at 76, that’s a blessing. Every aspect of this adventure surpassed my expectations, from scheduling, surgery, all appointments, etc. Dr. Long has amazing bedside manner and truly listens. I highly recommend him without any reservation.

I had lens replacement and laser to correct an extreme stigmatism. Dr Long was very kind, calm (which was necessary with this nervous Nelly) knowledgeable and realistic with my expectations. The staff was so kind and patient. Scheduling was easy and pricing was fair. I use Marietta eye clinic and have used Marietta eye surgery for several issues and have had wonderful results. I highly recommend Marietta eye clinic and Dr Long.

DR. LONG IS EXCELLENT. I JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY LEAVING ME WITH BELLS PALSY AND MY EYELID OUT OF PLACE. I AM 78 YEARS OLD AND HE TREATED ME LIKE A FRIEND. BEDSIDE MANNER IS WONDERFUL. HE IS THE VERY BEST I HAVE BEEN TO AND AT MY AGE, THAT'S A LOT OF DOCTORS..I WILL RETURN AND DO BELIEVE HE CAN HELP ME. Got lost, held on phone for fifteen minutes and finally found it. After I checked in, they cancelled on me and said done for the day. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

I saw him about my "drooping eyelids". I was referred by my optometrist Dr Melonie Clemmons who said he is the best surgeon for this type of surgery. The consult with him was very efficient and he is a caring personable Doctor. I had an upper eyelid surgery to remove the skin and fat. I couldn't be happier with the results. I look 20 years younger and don't look like I had surgery. He called me the night of the surgery to make sure I was ok and if I had any questions. I am very happy and have recommended him to my friends!

I am only three days out from having skin removed from my upper eyelids and I can already see the results will be amazing. I am seeing what my eyes used to look like, only even a little better! Dr. Long did an amazing but subtle job. He really does have an artistic eye.

After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time Dr. Long enters the room for my consultation regarding the possible eyelid surgery. He seemed RUSHED and eager to get onto the next thing. He quickly described the procedure and could see my hesitancy and he said " I see you are on the fence about this"..HE WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE just SHUT the door! barked some orders to an assistant to get me some info. I will never go back there nor will I ever refer anyone to him. No empathy or caring attitude especially when you are a New Patient those impressions are important.
