I brought my 95 year old mother who has dementia for her first appointment with this doctor, since we had to move her from another state to Connecticut. He came into the room, did not introduce himself, started asking why we were there, as though he didn't know this was for a first time visit, and did not even look at my mother. He treated her like an object and I finally called him on it. When I did, he just looked at me, unresponsively. He didn't change any of his actions and didn't care to. Then, after her being on a pain medication prescribed by her doctor of 35 years in another state, he halved it with no explanation except he didn't think she needed that much. He doesn't even know her and has no idea, nor did he ask her, how much pain she is in. He's arrogant, aloof, and we will never be bringing her back to him.

My experiences with Dr. Thomas have also been filled with his rudeness, arrogance and completely uncaring manner of dealing with patients. At one point he walked over to get something on the wall and bumped into me really hard and kept going taking half of me with him. He never acknowledged this nor did he apologize. That is very unprofessional, uncaring behavior but worse is his decisions and judgement. I came into his office and told him my symptoms and he got a phone call. I looked at my watch and he was literally on that call for 20 minutes. Once he hung up he told me what the treatment was for the infection but he prescribed the incorrect medication. I got worse and worse and finally saw my own doctor far sicker due to Dr. Thomas' treatement (or lack thereof) of my condition. Unfortuantely he covers for other doctors so I have had to deal with him several times. I will go to another office before I let him make a decision about my care as he does not know what he is doing. I am a… nurse and he says things that make no sense at all. Stay away and find a more competent doctor who will treat you properly (medically) and with some modicum of respect.

rudest most incompetent doctor I have ever seen in my life. waited 45 mins for him to enter rm where he then sat at his computer and did not even acknowledge I was in the room. just kept staring at the computer. went to see him regarding a thryroid condition, but I swear this guy could not even find my thyroid.wrote out a script, said absolutely nothing,and simply walked out the door.Who gave this guy a medical degree!?

OMG! What's wrong with this doctor. I was sick and every doc in that facility was booked except Dr. Thomas. After waiting a while in waiting area and then in the room , he came in and start pushing button in the computer , didn't say a word , I started telling him how I was feeling , and then he got up and was getting the flash light to check my ear but talking to himself and at some point he said the S word. He checked sat down , I asked him so what's going on with me, he said you are all set, I ordered medicine for you and you will live. I WILL NEVER go to him again. No one should be treated like this especially doctors. Other Docs in that facility are fine. Do not go to Dr. Thomas.

Dr. Thomas spent 99% of the visit staring at the computer, clicking and scrolling, and swearing at it angrily. Not muttered under his breath to himself, out loud, vehement G-D--it!!! repeatedly. Lifted my papers with prescription information up and then tossed them down alongside the computer repeatedly, while continuing to swear at it. Barely looked at me, barely said a word, didn't even look up at me during the few questions he asked. Decided he was done, said "Come with me" and disappeared out the door before I could even get down from the table, let alone get my things (including the cane I walk with). I had to find my own way out. If you can avoid him, I would suggest you do. Anyone else has got to be better.

After my primary-care physician of 29 years retired, I engaged Dr. Thomas because of his excellent credentials and length of experience. My first visit gave me the impression that I had chosen well. I found Dr. Thomas supremely knowledgeable, thorough, inquisitive, and attentive. I also liked his sense of humor and his direct, no-nonsense way of communicating his findings and recommendations. As a daily reader of Medline, I know the latest findings in most fields. I got a strong impression that Dr. Thomas does, too. My one reservation about Dr. Thomas is that (according to his staff -- I didn't ask him myself) he does not communicate with his patients by email. I would place a higher value on his services if he did. Nevertheless, I would recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone who wants solid, science-based medicine delivered with a refreshingly human touch.

I will never let anyone in my family be treated by this man ever again. He was rude, disrespectful, and has little or no bedside manner. Waited in the lobby for 40 minutes and in the examining room for an hour and he never apologized, nor did he seem to care. He shows little compassion for people who are sick or in pain.
