Strictly rating based ONLY on physician we saw today. My son was seen this weekend by a NP at his Pediatrician office. Received lEar infection diagnosis. They always recommend he do steroid nebulizer treatments (when he has virus) because he is prone to pneumonia and cough variant asthma. At 4:30 he was given nebulizer treatment and reacted with severe shaking and looked miserable, and was alarming to see. I brought him to Clineva urgent care for first time. We entered and I checked in. As I was telling reception my concerns, the nurse (Jason) was a sweetheart. He took vitals while I signed in. As we waited in exam room the doctor finally came in. I proceeded to tell her a little about what went on. She cuts me off and tells me "just because you told him, doesn't mean I know what's going on." Once she responded this way, I knew this lady was going to be an issue. She checked my sons vitals (which were NOT registering with the nurse earlier). She did not bother to check temp again. She… mentioned fever reducer which I gladly accepted for my son. She proceeded to school me on her knowledge of why he was shaking, why he should have a fever, and making me feel like an idiot. Which was quite frankly, pissing me off. I nodded in agreement and listened. This lady shows tons of narcissism! She has AWFUL bedside manner! She actually has the audacity to question why I was giving my son (who again, has history of asthma and pneumonia, as well as croup) his doctor approved and recommended nebulizer treatments! I think this facility is amazing, clean, reception was lovely, Jason was kind to me and my son. Dr. Rodriguez has extremely poor bedside manner!
