Dr. Caleb Joseph Trent, MD

We had to drive to Topeka to get my kid proper emergency care for a conccusion which was worsened by Dr. Trent delaying my kids care because he also is diagnosed with Asperger's.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Trent. My then 92 year old mother was having a stroke when she arrived at the ER. Dr Trent didn't waste a second evaluating her condition and risks. He treated her like a person, not an old lady, and his judgement and aggressiveness not only saved her life, his decisions prevented her from having any damage as a result of the stroke. Once again, Mom has had to go to ER - and during the Covid crisis. I was relieved beyond words to hear him on the phone when he called me to keep me updated. Doubly so because no family can be in the hospital. He remembered her well. And I know she could not be in better hands. Thank you LMH for having Dr Trent there for all of us!

Extremely unprofessional and incompentent physician. Dr. Trent is strongly biased against those who have disabilities and/or are not Christian. If you see him for anything and have any Mental Health DX on your records at LMH Dr. Trent will ignore the actual presenting issue and act like it's an acute mental health crisis. I am truly shocked that this man's licence has not been revoked by the board of healing arts.

Dr. Trent is extremely bias against chronic pain sufferers. He will deny you even the most minimal treatment for pain emergencies and will label you as a drug seeker in your medical record, even if you have a spotless k-trac report and no history of abuse or inappropriate requests for narcotics. He will also push other ED providers to deny you treatment. One of the worst of LMH.

I was treated at LMH ER this past weekend by Dr. Trent. An excellent experience. He was very easy to talk with and my treatment was great.

Have been very pleased the couple of times I've seen Dr. Trent.

Do not put your life in this quacks hands. He is quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my 56 years on this earth. Reminds me of Dr. Nick of the Simpsons except with a cold and angry demeanor. Dr. Trent is in dire need of being in psychiatric unit as a patient rather than being an M.D.
