He is HORRIBLE

I was seeking a primary doctor and was recommended by the urgent care I had seen regarding numbness of my hand, constant joint pain, the crawling sensation of my legs at night and my gut giving me such pain that it makes me cry openly at times. Dr. Yongkuma, while seeming very knowledgeable and thorough, had little concern of the numbness in my hand and the pain of my joints due to some cold-like symptoms and a reoccurring infection in my finger. I agreed to his decision that it's best to treat what can be seen and work inwards, as it was a logical course of action. Blood work and swabs were taken, was given two antibiotics and a follow-up appointment for strep. On my follow-up, he informed me I did have strep which should be clear at that point and the infection in my finger went away due to the antibiotics. He wrote me off as being fine, though I insisted about my other concerns. Informed me I would need a neurology appointment, he did not even touch me or inquire further about… my other issues. After a neurology appointment, I followed up again over the phone, but the doctor refused to speak to me unless I made an appointment. All I wanted to ask was if he had received my MRI and ultrasound results from the specialist which the office staff were unwilling to tell me. I would not recommend Dr. Yongkuma for anything other than his specialty of infectious disease. He has seemingly little care for patient mental well being and looks only for the issues he can resolve, pushing off to other doctors. I only wished him to help me fill out a basic form for my work disability but he refused to even look at the papers, even when I made an appointment SPECIFICALLY for that purpose.

Dr. Yongkuma is a wonderful, wonderful, doctor. My wife and I have been going to him nearly three years. He has always treated us right and we love him.

my appointment was 2 wks out. Then I waited 105 minutes before seeing the doctor. I had not been examined for a few years so I had several concerns. He listened and then got up and said, "OK". The nurse handed me a script for miralax for abdominal tenderness (which i already had at home) but nothing for my main concern which was the red, itchy, oozing wounds on my hands that he didnt even look at. I had to wait longer for the nurse to talk to him about that. They then made me an appt to come back in two weeks to discuss blood work. what? why can't they call me with the results? he could be a great doctor who was having an off day but i'm not going back and will not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Yongkuma, is such a wonderful and caring doctor. He helps his patients regardless of their needs, and helps them manage and treat their illnesses with traditional medicine, and most of all the kindness and care he shows to each individual patient. South Alabama is blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Yongkuma is the perfect example of what a physician should be. He is very kind and compassionate, and goes to great lengths to find help for his patients. His staff is remarkable in their caring and treat everyone like family. He is absolutely the best out there. He has the unique ability to put one at ease, even in the middle of a great health crisis. One truly feels that he is actually interested in his patients. We love him, and Andalusia is lucky to have him,
