Dr. Calin V Pop, MD

I have been going to Dr Pop for years now. I cannot say enough about how thorough and caring not only the Dr but his staff. I feel welcome every trip like family and have felt better than I have in years. I follow a regimen of vitamins that is monitored by the doctor and have energy and intend to keep on kicking

I have never met such unprofessional doctor in my life. At my last visit he literally yelled at me and talked down to me like a child. I have seen and heard him do this to other patients this was my first and last time he will shout at me. Do not go if you have questions or a opinion because apparently you know nothing about your own body also he is test happy and if you don’t get them he will tell you to find another doctor. I believe this doctor has some severe issue he should address before treating patients. I can see why he only treats patients over 55 he can be a bully to them.

I found Dr Pop by searching the internet for good doctors in Spring Hill, Fl, after my previous Primary Care Physician was doing nothing more than prescribing drugs and referring me to other specialists in the Practice that he and his family owns. Dr Pop received great reviews, so I switched to him as my PCP (Primary Care Physician) provider. He immediately took me off my Metformin and Basaglar injections for diabetes. I complained to my Previous PCP that metformin gave me intestinal cramps and bloating, and he said “tough, it is the cheapest most effective drug for Type II diabetes”. Dr Pop’s book about Type II diabetes (you need to read this book!) explains that this type of diabetes is not an insulin problem but 100% a diet problem, due to sugar and carbohydrates. I have to say that he is 100% correct. I have been controlling my sugar levels with diet alone. Upon my initial visit to DR Pop, he ordered a CT and PET scan immediately and found that I had some infection… in my lungs that they treated for pneumonia with antibiotic IV drips, administered in his office. That has all cleared up now! Presently I am receiving massive Vitamin IV drips to clear up my fatigue which I also have been experiencing, and that is working also. Dr Pop’s office rooms have signs saying, “if you are not serious about your health, then this is not the place for you”. I agree. One thing which I found amazing about Dr Pop, is that he actually listens to what you are saying, and not just in one ear and out the other, as if “I am the doctor and I know best.” Hard to find these days!

The best doctor around!! I had the pleasure to meet him and work with him on my diabetic problems, when i went to him for the first time my blood sugar at over 300. With his help I was able to bring it down to 98 in only a couple of months.Dr. Calin is the best doctor I've ever met,I highly recommend him for all your health problems.

Hey there world! If you are looking for an extremely thorough and awesome geriatric doctor, Dr. Pop is the doctor for you! At my first visit we hardcore discussed my medical issues and made a plan. If you follow his plan your health will be at it's high score! He doesn't just speak in doctor he breaks everything down in normal human speak. I am so glad that I've found this facility! Not only is the doctor the best, but his staff is very efficient and cheerful! I wish I had this kind of doctor when I was in New York! This guy seemed more interested in bilking Medicare for office visits and selling vitamins and supplements than actually treating patients. The first red flag was trying to put me on a breathing treatment, then scheduling frequent follow up appointments when I had no symptoms or complaints. The final straw came when I was having an anxiety issue and tried to explain what I thought was going on. Dr. Pop stopped me in mid sentence and said, "Don't tell me what you think, tell me how you feel!" ...there's a sign in the lobby that says, "Dr. Pop, the doctor who listens" ...what a joke! During that same visit, I'd asked him to look at a spot on my head that had been sore and wasn't healing. He was on his way out of the room with one hand on the door knob when I reminded him about it. He turned, glanced over and said, "It's fine, don't worry about it" Several months later, I went to a dermatologist and ended up having three rounds of Mohs surgery to remove the cancer from that same spot.

I am finally healthy after 70 years of life thanks to Dr. Pop. My thyroid is under control for the first time ever. I am healthy and have lots of energy. All this is due to the care I am receiving. If you follow Dr. Pops recommendations and instructions, you will have no issue with him. I have found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. I don't look for doctors to coddle me or make me feel like their best friend, I want a doctor that gets results with a minimal amount of drugs. Dr. Pop is outspoken and speaks his mind. I would not have it any other way! If you are serious about your health, willing to follow instructions and suggestions, Dr. Pop is the doctor for you. It will change your life!!!

Great office staff. Too bad the doctor is not the same. Been seeing doctor for about 5 months . Last visit was very unfortunate Dr. finally showed his true colors. Been treated for fatigue and shortness of breath and heart conditions need more tests . Asked Dr. to fill out a FMLA form that my employer requested I get due to the amount of time I've been using. Well the Dr. had nothing short of a meltdown. Told me he will not lie for me (are you treating me for lies or real conditions) Stated he's not paid to fill out forms ( which tells me he's all about the $)All so said that he could care less about anything about me That's not related to my health, not his concern. Could this man be any more of a pompous you not what.I for one will not use a Dr. that only sees me as a # not as a person(how unprofessional can you be) He stated that he's not a tool to be used ( has a major chip on shoulder) Explained that I need this form and if he will not do it i will have to find another doctor… who will .... well he blew up he jumped out of his seat and screamed at me to get out and not come back , didn't know if I should get angry or laugh ( at some one making a sad spectacle of himself) It's unfortunate that some Doctors louse sight of the fact that there providing you a service that you pay them for. They think they can talk down to you or be as rude as they please. I see Dr. Pop got some very good reviews and some not good at all reviews . The bad reviews mirror just what I experienced today. I can not roll the dice on what doctor i will see the good Dr. Jekyll or the very bad Mr. Hyde,

Ive been with Dr Pop for 15 years, introduced me to chelation and supplements,

my experience has been excellent. helped me control my diabetes, for the first time without difficulty.I now have a better understanding of the foods ...
