Dr. Calmeze Henike Dudley JR., MD

If his poor ratings don't speak for themselves, it's important to know that Dudley Calmeze is contracted by BCBS to perform IME's on employees at U of M, and is paid to deny employees' claims for paid leave of absence, disability, and even FMLA. Just sayin'....

This doctor was amazing. He was more compassionate that my own doctor. He gave me excellent guidance and I was so happy to be evaluated by him.

Seen this guy and I will tell you this, he is the one who needs help. IME Doctor he will try and corner you into giving a different answer to trick you. Beware!!!! I wouldn't trust him as far as you could throw him.

This guy is a joke. Insurance company used this clown as an IME. His report resulted in me losing benefits. Fortunately, his incompetence ultimately led to a reversal of this decision and I received all back benefits. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

The most arrogant human being I ever met. He asks you a question and then thanks you for each and every answer as if you have any sort of choice in the matter. When you talk he puts his head back and closes his eyes as if deeply pondering your response. Patronizing and arrogant sum him up. He's called an "independent" evaluator but he clearly works for the insurance companies. I explained to him I've battled PTSD ,clinical depression and chronic insomnia since being sexually assaulted by my supervisor, DALE HOLCOMB, while working for the Michigan Department of Corrections where I'd been employed 23 years. The insomnia has resulted in several health issues that made it impossible to function at work. I also told him I had been targeted for constant discipline , written up and suspended for things I didn't do. This Dr will have no sympathy for you. I guarantee it. He deemed me fit to return to work today. My disability benefits were immediately terminated. I have no medical … insurance now. When I contacted my employer , The State of Michigan , to ask what I needed to do to return to work they informed me that I'M "DEPARTED" ( fancy word for FIRED ). Calls to Lansing and to my union , MCO, as of now have gone unanswered. WOW, that's a lot to deal with! Thanks for nothing Dr. Dudley. I do believe that one day we will all answer for the roles we played on this earth. MY conscience is clear. I've never lied on anyone or intentionally hurt anyone. Good luck to all ! Be prepared for this guy to ignore all your issues and say you are fit for work ! Brace yourself for it. God bless.

I was also sent to this so called doctor by my auto insurance company to perform a mental evaluation on me called an "Independent Medical Evaluation or and IME." In fact, I call them "Insurance" Medical Evaluation and NOT independent because they are far away from being independent, and I will tell you why they are not independent in a minute. This so called doctor evaluates patients who have been involved in auto accidents on behalf of auto insurance companies or workmans comp. So if you are being sent to this guy for an "independent" medical do not expect this doctor to say a word in your favor. He is being paid by your auto insurance company so this is not called an "independent" medical evaluation anymore. They tell him what to say in the report, and they make sure he says you do not need any attendant care. Let me tell you, this guy is rude, condescending, and would twist every single word that will come out of your mouth. Your insurance is mainly asking him to write a report… that will benefit them regardless the situation you may be in. Paralyzed, your life was ruined, have had 10 different surgeries, all that is not matter to him and your insurance company. In other words, he will say there is nothing wrong with you at all, and all of your mental illness are pre-existing conditions meaning that you have had them prior to your accident. Yes, you better believe that because it happened to me. That is exactly what the insurance company is looking for to cut your off and is more than enough to cut you off on your benefits. Your only course of action would be is to file a lawsuit against your insurance company like I did and won (thank God). These so called independent doctors are incompetent, don't care, heartless, and just lie for the money. They do not care if your life was ruined, it is all about the money to them. Their God is the almighty dollar. The question I always ask myself is, how can they go on living their life knowing they harmed so many people? How are they going to face God? How did they take the DO NO HARM Oath when they became doctors and now they are lying for the money? That is just beyond me.

If you're really looking for help, don't look for it from him. So rude and arrogant. Doesn't know how to talk to people. Doesn't care about you or how you feel and it's so obvious. Glad I read reviews before I went to see him, because the rudeness wasn't a surprise.

I would not trust this guy with my dog. He just works for the insurance company and cares nothing about people. He even disagrees with the same diagnosis made independently by 6, yes 6, other psychiatrists over a span of 20 yrs. it is time for him to retire and let some competent doctor move in to his position.
