Dr. Calvin Abro chose a career in hematology and oncology during medical school after discovering how wide-reaching and constantly evolving the field is. He enjoys that there’s always something new to learn, and he’s driven by a desire to help others and be part of the ongoing effort to improve and preserve life.Though he is experienced in treating a wide range of cancers and blood disorders, he has a special interest in GI cancers, breast cancer, central nervous system tumors, lymphomas, chronic leukemias and many benign blood conditions.
