I was referred to Dr Calvin Day from my dr in McAllen who had recently removed squamous cell carcinoma from the top of my head...Dr Calvin Day is truly an outstanding physician who believes in professionalism and compassion to the patient. He has an amazing bedside manner and treated me with kindness and compassion since I was a little nervous hearing a diagnosis of carcinoma. I would especially like to recognize ms Laura at the front desk who took the time to explain the billing and insurance process. His nurse assistant was also amazing and quite skilled. Their social and communication skills are exemplary. They go beyond any ordinary front desk work by comforting the patient and helped me to feel at ease. I was definitely referred to probably the best physician specializing in skin cancer. I was saved by Doctor Day. I am so glad he is back. I just saw him and as usual, removed all the moles he did not like. His assistant was also very nice.

My wife and I were impressed with the professional help we received from the doctor and his staff. We were also impressed with support of youth sports & the way he spoke of his wife and children.

I went to Dr. Day when I was 45 years old with a basal cell cancer located at the tip of my nose. I came out of another dermatologist very upset and crying when he told me he would have to remove the tip of my nose. I was then referred to Dr. Day, thank goodness! He removed the cancer, and I don't even have a visible scar. His staff was very professional, caring, and thoughtful of my family. I was devastated to hear he wasn't going to be able to practice. So happy to hear of his vindication, and I will go back to him as my dermatologist.
