Dr. Cameron Noble Carmody, MD

Dr Carmody is a talented, funny, warm, empathetic doctor who is not quick to rush into surgery. He listens to your story, hears your issues, identifies a variety of solutions all with care and kindness. Dr. Carmody runs fairly on time, waits are short and he never makes you feel rushed. To me, he exemplifies what being a great doctor is all about!

After years of pain and dealing with the discomfort stemming from a pinched nerve, I decided it was time to explore my options with a surgeon. I had exhausted all other temporary remedies. I was referred to Dr. Cameron Carmody. The moment I met him and discussed my options, I no longer had fear of having a surgical procedure. With Dr. Carmody’s confidence, expertise, experience, and knowledge, I knew I would be in good hands. I had a disc replacement in my neck. The procedure was a very smooth process with very little downtime. Two weeks post-surgery I was back to running, cycling, and eventually weight training. I can now run and cycle on the road for a number of hours and no longer have numbing in my arm, sharp pain in my upper back, or soreness in my neck. I wish I had gone to Dr. Carmody years ago. As a former collegiate runner, I have had my fair share of injuries and have seen multiple specialists over the years. Dr. Carmody is by far one of the best doctors that I have worked… with to find a solution to an injury. I highly recommend Dr. Cameron Carmody and his staff.

Dr. Carmody was patient, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I had been in pain for 7 months, tried chiropractics, physical therapy, and medicines. I was desperate. He diagnosed me within minutes, offered a solution and was compassionate through the painful procedure. Within minutes, I was pain free and in tears with joy. Very good at listening & explaining

I had put off having a spinal fusion for a decade. When i decided,enough was enough and I just could not get around anymore, I consulted with Dr. Carmody. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. It was a big surgery, but within 4 months, I can hold a plank for 60 seconds and do whatever I want. I have my mobility back. I do have occasional discomfort with over exertion, but it is nothing compared to what I had endured for so many years. Thank you Dr. Carmody!!

Dr. Carmody is an amazing and talented surgeon. I have suffered from scoliosis most of my life and needed a Dr. who not only listened to me, but could also help me. I saw four surgeons over three years before I saw Dr. Carmody and all of them either told me they couldn't help me because my case was "too complicated" or just wanted to give me pain meds. Dr. Carmody was the first one to not only listen to me, but he never once said I was too complicated to help. I ended up having two discs replaced and more spinal fusion. He explained my procedure thoroughly with me and now 6 months later I have gone from daily debilitating pain to almost 90% pain free!
