I am scared of doctors and when I say scared I mean I won’t go unless I absolutely have to. I was in so much pain when I entered the ER for the second time that week. Dr. McFarland was polite and professional from start to beginning. He heard my concerns and explained everything that he was going to do and why he was going to do it. He acknowledge my pain and worked with me to get the quickest and most effective treatment. If I ever have to, and I hope not anytime soon, go back to the ER I want Dr. McFarland as my doctor. Thank you for listening to me and getting an action plan in place so quickly. PS: special shout out to Alice who helped me both times. Super sweet, funny and caring nurse. She’s the best!
