Do not pay this dentist up front. The front desk gal said they would honor ‘in-network’ billing because he’s a specialist (even though he was out of network with my plan) - and assured me multiple times, it was all good. Instead, they overcharged me by over $500 between the two procedures (I had one done shortly after the first one). And to top it off, the first procedure was bad and I’m still having issues with the tooth. Not to be trusted.

I was referred to Dr Oler for a complicated root canal. He did an excellent job - I cud tell he was working quickly bec I have TMJ issues and am in agony when I have to hold my mouth open for a long time. I had called prior to the appt to ask abt sedation - Dr Oler called me back personally & gave me sum options for comfort. Wen I was there, he opened the door to the waiting room himself, ushering me in. I just wish he did crown preps & crowns too, but alas he doesn’t.

I was referred from my primary dentist. Dr. Oler quickly performed the procedure for which I was referred to him for. We discussed what treatments I would require in the future. He identified different options and went out of his way to contact me a week later to see how I was recovering. I highly recommend him for treatments that are outside the scope of a normal dentist.

Great experience, I didn't feel anything and my tooth has been great for 3 years since.

This was the WORST dental experience in my entire life, and I've been to family health services in the past. After explaining that I have severe anxiety and was offered nitrous even at 5x the cost of a regular dentist, I told them I wanted to use it. They gave the shot and said they would return with gas and get me set up. I waited in the chair for OVER AN HOUR. Not one person ever came by to check on me or offer any explanation of what the wait was, I was just left fully reclined in the chair, at some point I even managed to get out of the chair and use the restroom since no one ever came, except one assistant that would take stuff out of the room and leave and not ever say a single word to me. The dentist finally came back and put more numbing medicine in my gums and told me they were going to start, at this point I didn't even want to ask again for nitrous because of how long I had already been there. No one ever explained the procedure or process afterwards. After the drilling I… felt pain when they were removing the nerves or something and I tried to tell them to stop and that it was hurting and I was told to "just relax." I never saw what my tooth looked like after the fact and was given a dixie cup full of ibuprofen and an offer for another rx anti inflammatory but was never offered any additional information on the medication to even know if I wanted to or needed to use it. I left completely traumatized and freaked out. Literally ZERO stars.

Dr. Oler was careful to explain and make sure I understood both the diagnosis and necessary treatment before starting any procedure. He took time to make sure I was comfortable and the entire experience was pain free. Twin Falls is fortunate to have a caring doctor like Dr. Oler.

My husband went to him on a recommendation from his regular dentist. He thought it was for a consultation. Work was done without even discussing it with him. Then, as he left the office he was asked to pay $350 with no explanation of charges. Later contact with the office gave us no further information. Then we got another bill after the insurance paid their portion. We had no idea what to expect. The office and the doctor refuse to talk to you when you ask for questions and information. He is obviously too busy to be bothered. Don't go here.

Performed a procedure on a minor with mental health issues without informed consent. Never talked to the parent. The tooth had been examined by other dentists and deemed healthy. We were there for and 'opinion' and he was half-way through the a root canal when the parent found out.
