Dr. Camille Marie Smith, MD

Dr. Camille Smith was the rounding pediatrician at Parkview and took excellent care of my newborn son! She was thorough, compassionate, explained things well, and did not rush us!! Excellent Dr and would recommend her and this practice!!!

We meet Dr.Camille at the hospital as the on duty pediatrician for our 1st daughter her knowledge and bedside manner are impeccable. We have used Dr Camille for all 3 daughters and have been happy for 12 years I would recommend her to any new mom or seasoned mom. The office staff is also nice and we are always able to get an appointment with someone same day if Dr Camille is not available. Just know this is a busy office.

We met Dr.Camille after I delivered my daughter she was the attending physician. Her bedside manner was so personable and caring I had to ask her if she was taking new patients. We have been thoroughly happy with Dr. Camille about 12 years and she has been our pediatrician for all 3 daughters and when they get sick or hurt the first thing they say is "I need to see Dr.Camille". They trust her and I do too. Even when she is extremely busy she has always taken the time to explain and address any issues and make us feel like she values our time and my family as patients.

Dr. Camille is very knowledgable and accommadating. She has been the pediatrician for each of my children. I would highly recommend her!

My 6 year old and 2 year sons old have benefited from Dr. Smith their whole lives. When they are ill I almost always get an appointment same day. She has amazing bedside manner and understanding. She takes time and never rushes you. She always listens and empathizes as well as diagnosing correctly. The best pediatrician in Fort Wayne hands down. You may have to schedule check ups months in advance and wait a long time at the office but it is worth it.

When our son was born prematurely we hadn't picked a pediatrician yet and were referred to Dr. Camille by one of the NICU nurses. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician, as she not only interacts well with our baby, but she takes the time to make sure we are confident and comfortable with what is going on. We look forward to our appointments with her and never hesitate to call with any questions or concerns!

Dr. Camille Smith is the most caring, warm and trusting pediatrician we have ever known. After having gone through approximately 10 prior to finding her we feel positive that we cannot find anyone who both makes our children as well as ourselves so comfortable. If it is important to you that you find a doctor who believes in breastfeeding and natural mothering you will be especially relieved to have found her.

We've been through several doctors and simply could not imagine a better doctor than the one we've found in Dr. Smith. Our children adore her and my husband and I do as well. She believes in natural child rearing and hasn't ever second guessed our decision to ecologically breastfeed our baby. She hasn't ever tried to push us to use a pacifier, feed certain foods by a certain age, etc. As long as our children are healthy and happy she is as well. She can be trusted to provide the best and most current information. She is one of a kind.
