When I first met Dr Tang , I was recovering from a major depression. Dr Tang spent time getting to know me and my case. He treated me like a person, not just a quick consult like I experienced with other doctors that I had seen. He worked with me to find the right combination of drugs in the correct amounts so that I was not a zombie. Thanks to his skills, I was able able to resume my life and move forward without the fear of another crippling depression. Dr Tang is genuinely interested in helping you. He is kind and compassionate, and very smart. There is an art and skill to prescribing medications to treat mental illness.. Dr.Tang saved my life by giving me my life back. I am very grateful to have found him and recommend him unequivocally

Personalized attention and care along with a professional, upbeat demeanor makes Dr. Tang an exceptional psychiatrist. He takes interest about my whole life in general. He allows time for me to ask questions and gives me all the information I need to feel comfortable. I am an anxious person yet not with him. I feel like he understands me without judgment. Who looks forward to seeing their psychiatrist? Me. I hesitated all my life to see a psychiatrist and am so glad I finally got to a point where I really needed to about 9 years ago.

I've been seeing Dr. Tang for over a year and it has been an excellent experience! He really takes a personal approach to care and does a great job of working with you on your specific needs and preferences. He is also upfront and honest with the pros and cons of choosing different options. I've had some bad experiences previously with doctors heavily pushing products, and Dr. Tang takes a calculated approach to maximizing benefit while mitigating negative side effects. Dr. Tang is incredibly flexible and understanding when it comes to booking follow up appointments as well. Each time we meet, it's an efficient and helpful discussion, not an obligatory follow up. I can't recommend Dr. Tang enough!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tang for medication management for several years. He is always so kind and caring - never failing to ask about specific situations in my life, which may be causing stress or triggering my depression. We need only meet for 15-20 minutes every few months or so, as my medication is very stabilized at this point, but I don’t feel rushed, at all. I’ve seen other psychiatrists for medication management prior to Dr.Tang. I’ve always felt like I didn’t even need to be there - that a phone call would’ve done, as some doctors treated me like I was just a quick check mark on their appt schedule - never asking anything beyond, “How do you feel?” Definitely refreshing to have someone really care what the answer actually is. I’d definitely refer Dr.Tang to friends and family.

I have been with Dr. Tang for over 10 years now. I came to Dr. Tang for anxiety and extreme panic attacks. I had no panic attacks for 10 years now and my anxiety has been under control for 10 years now too. He is always available whenever I have an episode. He is great.

After being driven almost to despair by my mental and physical symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Tang. Due to his assessment and diagnosis the treatment he recommended has made me feel more “normal” than I have in a very long time. I do support anyone needing this kind of treatment to choose Dr. Tang as their provider. He was not the first psychiatrist I sought help from but I do assume he will be the last.
