Dr. Candace Nicole Howe, MD

Dr Howe and the whole team at HM medical are amazing! I will return for every one of my pregnancies. They are caring, companionate, and amazing at what they do. This was my first baby and they made sure we were taken care of and explained in detail anything we needed to know. Dr Howe, Dr M, and Dr Neeper Made sure we were always on the same page and made me feel comfortable. They went over our birth plan and made sure that we did everything as close to the way we wanted to deliver and what was safest for the baby. Any complications we had were no match to Dr Howe and we now have a beautiful healthy boy!

OMG I cannot say enough about this office and their medical staff! I was a high risk older pregnancy with identical twin girls and placenta previa so I has to visit on a weekly basis. I immediately felt like part of the family and given the best medical attention any patient and expecting first time mom could ask for. Dr Howe then basically saved my life as I lost 3.5 liters of blood during the very well planned c section. My girls are perfect and her and her team kept following up on my family during their 4 week NICU stay in the hospital. If you want lots of hugs and love and the best medical treatment anyone could ask for, this is the office you want for your pregnancy. They are the reason I would think about maybe doing it again! Thank you all from the bottom of heart, our family is blessed because of you!

Dr. Howe is extremely patient oriented, compassionate, kind, full of energy, and on top of all the most current standards of care and research in the field. She is very thorough during her exams, covering every aspect of women's health and makes you feel like the most important part of her day. I receive excellent care from her very busy practice who are always kind and polite. Dr. Howe is truly one of the finest physicians I have interacted with in my life and over 30 year medical career.

Dr Howe, Dr Maslovaric and the team is very professional. She treated me really well. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends who needs an OB. She delivered my baby very successfully even though I had a little bit of trouble during labor. Great doctor and great clinic.

A really disappointing experience. It feels like the office is run like a factory, not a doctors office helping women... and that you are just a part being passed a long. The assistant, I didnt get her name (hair in twists or braids) is so unprofessional, rude and condescending. I had a terrible experience with her both in the office, over the phone and then trying to schedule an app. It seems she has no boundaries and the freedom to treat patients hkeever she feels. I found the whole staff, from the doctor to the secretary, to be extremely defensive when questioned. Sadly it just seems to be that the doctors have lost control of the office culture and the human touch.

I love Dr Howe. She is an amazing person and the best Dr I have ever had. I've been with her through endometriosis, fertility problems, surgery, and most recently the best experience of my life, her delivering our son. She is an excellent Dr. and I only wish there were more like her.

Dr. Howe and her PA Raelyn have been amazing my entire pregnancy. Her front office staff is super friendly and sweet as well! I feel confident delivering our first baby with her.

I made an appointment with her as soon as I found out I was pregnant. However, once I started bleeding during the weekend, she didn't have time to see me and told me to do some blood work on Monday. 5 days after this incident, I go to my appointment to find out that they do not accept my insurance. I should have done my homework but this is very dissappointing. I had to call to see the results of my blood work on Monday and Tuesday and I didn't get a call from the doctor, instead I talked the receptionist of all my symtomps and got a probable diagnostic. When I was turned away, I called to talk to another doctor, I was told I should have gone to the emergency room. I do not like to wait for results and certainly do not like to wait for 5 days to get an ultrasound. I am sure the doctor is great but I have not had a good experience since this situation has happened to me and I would have liked better service.

Dr. Howe is the best OB Doc I have ever had. I had been through 3 other doctors before i finally found her. I seen her when she was in Ventura even though she relocated she is a physician I highly recommend! She is very intelligent and caring. She always answers all your questions and if she does not have the answer for you at the time of the visit she will find it for you. She would personally call and check in with me to make sure things where going as planned and even to make sure that I kept outside appoinments that were needed. I have not been able to find a physican to top Dr. Howe. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
