Dr. Candace Sierra Jones, MD

Dr. Jones’ approach to working with patients is rooted in deep empathy, active listening, and evidence-based care, ensuring that each individual feels genuinely heard, understood, and supported. She is highly detail-oriented, carefully tracking both subtle and significant changes to tailor treatment plans with precision and care. Her clinical philosophy draws heavily from current psychiatric literature and research, allowing her to integrate the most effective, up-to-date interventions with compassion and clinical insight. Above all, she is passionately committed to mental health, striving to help every patient reclaim their sense of well-being and agency. Her inspiration to pursue mental health began in high school. During this time, she volunteered at a mental health center and witnessed firsthand the positive impact of compassionate care. Fascinated by the brain's complexity, she majored in neuroscience, driven by lifelong curiosity about human behavior and the intricate biology …that shapes it. Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys hiking, discovering new trails and places, and spending time with her Maine Coon cat, Milkshake.
