Dr. Candace Denise Spann, MD

My appointment with Dr. Spann was great. I didn't feel rushed, and she took the time with me, when I had a lot to explain to her. The only down fall, was it took 2 months to get in to see her. But that tells me she is really good at what she does. Just wish I could have gotten in sooner.

IT IS OVER 2 YEARS SINCE MY HAIR FELL OUT DUE TO A MEDICATION I WAS GIVEN BY ANOTHER PHYSICIAN. THANKS TO DR CANDACE SPANN AND HER PRODUCTS, I NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR ALONG WITH MY SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM. DR.SPANN IS EMPATHETIC, SINCERE IN WANTING TO HELP HER PATIENTS AND VERY CARING. THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Horrible lady, which somehow is called a doctor. It took 2 hours just to be seen for 5 mins., in which she didn't have anymore time available because the office was closing at 5 pm promptly. She screwed up entering the wrong patient's room, which added on another hour to my appt. I should have left, but knew I had a suspicious mole. She confirmed it, but even if I wanted to give her another shot- there is an 8 wk appt waiting period- for a mole with four different colors and irregular shape! Do you have any sense of urgency? Plus she spoke down to me (a grown women) about not wanting to use chemical sunscreens because I have already had cancer. She told me that we'd "talk" about this in the next appt. Lastly, don't sell your husband's services (plastic surgeon) to me- completely inappropriate/ unprofessional.

didn't address the actual issue I went in for. as I was leaving the exam room ( a 7 minute total consultation) I had to request dr. spann look at what my concerns were. had to wait 3 months to be seen . the appointment cost me more than if I'd have just paid cash because they DOUBLED the office visit because I gave them my insurance card!!! then when I came out I asked if I could pay cash and the receptionist said no, it would be fraud NOT to turn it in to the insurance she told me. got the higher bill later. wasn't worth the wait, time or money spent .

Billed and collected timely. Follow-up treatment and objective testing non-existent. Staff incompetent to schedule and to process insurance requests. Cost me $$ to go to another dermatologist, repeating same steps

She is exactly what I'd expect a dermatologist to be. Beautiful skin, gracious, good bedside manner, doesnt dismiss your feelings or ideas, and explains issues to you fully!!! Awesome, love her!!!

Dr. Spann is probably one of the best in her field of expertise. She is current with the latest therapies and medical interventions.

Dr.Spann diagnosed my skin problem, which had been misdiagnosed for years, and treated it by the third visit. My skin is clear and unscarred, and the out of pocket cost was nominal.

Dr Spann diagnosed my problem right away and recommended a simple relatively low cst solution in terms of the skin care products (available at Walgreens). She is easy to talk to, explains things clearly and has a wonderful bedside manner. Although my problem was certainly not serious, I would absolutely recommend her.
