Dr. Candice Colleen Colby-Scott, MD

Referred to Dr. Scott by my Audioiogist in Alpena due to severe, sudden hearing loss in both ears. Dr. Scott diagnosed a major internal ear infection and treated accordingly. Then performed surgery on said ear to remove dead skin and cartilage. This needed done before cochlear implant surgery. Very professional and compassionate not only to myself but to my husband while waiting through my surgery. Very caring, compassionate and willing to spend extra time with patient/family to answer questions and support during and after entire procedure! Highly recommended in ALL areas!

Dr. Colby is amazing. I had an urgent referral and she got me in and fixed the problem. Her demeanor and professionalism puts you at ease. The staff was very helpful and great to work with. So happy to have a great ear specialist in Midland.

I met Dr. Colby-Scott after a 5-year battle with an ear infection had damaged one of my ears. She replaced my damaged inner ear bones with prosthetic ones, and replaced my damaged ear drum, with cartilage from my own ear. She discovered, while doing so, what a university's MRI had missed: a hole dissolved inside my skull, exposing my brain. She removed all the tissue that was bad, and resurfaced the hole, with bone powder from my own head. My life was truly in her hands. There is no medical doctor I trust more. I would gladly trust her with my life again. My hearing is better than it has been for years, and I am free of the pain/discomfort I once had.

Dr Colby helped me when no other doctor could. After 6 months of other doctor visits and a hospital visit no one could seem to figure out what was causing my dizziness. Dr Colby told me I was having migraines. I didn’t believe at first, but I’ll listen to her and see what happens. After about 4 weeks of following her plan I was amazed at the improvement. I can’t thank her enough

Dr. Colby made my visits and surgical procedure stress less events! I had multiple issues and Dr. Colby took time to examine my ears fully, answer my questions, and explain what was going on with my ears. The surgical procedures were done at Providence, Novi and I was treated extremely well. As I am now on the mend. I appreciate everything Dr. Colby did to see if I can regain some hearing and avoid further ear infections.

I was having unusual sinus pressure and tooth aches. Dr. Colby quickly got to the root of the problem. I haven’t had any issues since, but if I do I’ll go back to see Dr. Colby.

Dr. Colby is by far the most knowledgeable ENT I have dealt with during my healthcare journey. I also was able to see her at the CMU clinic so I didn't have to travel 2 hours to Detroit. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Colby to others!

I was a little skeptical after read the reviews on this website... What did find was an amazing doctor that was thoughtful and had great bedside manner. Dr. Colby was very professional and really cared about my issue. I had visited her after seeing 3 different doctors with no cure. Dr. Colby was able to cure my dizziness after one visit.

Dr. Colby is a very rude, condescending doctor. I was so shocked at how very little this doctor even cares about patients! She is so cold, unfriendly, very rude. If you dare ask a question, she treats you like you are and idiot and wasting her time. My advice to any new patients is to do yourself a favor and seek out a different doctor. You deserve much better treatment and care than you would get from this doctor.
