Dr. Candice Marie Dunn, MD

Dr. Dunn provided incorrect directions for medication needed to help my adult son breath due to pneumonia. Pharmacy refused to fill & contacted her for correction. She never called them back. I had to contact the nurse's station at the hospital & ask that they locate her to correct the issue. At 7:03 p.m. she contacted me & violated my adult son's protected health information by discussing his health issues without knowing if she had permission to do so. I have never had a doctor blatantly violate HIPAA before, but she did. After, she told me she corrected the prescription. Dr. Dunn caused my son to suffer 2 nights of difficulty in breathing. The next morning, I went to pick up the corrected prescription only to discover she had never called it in. Once again I had to call the nurse's station and the charge nurse - NOT DR. DUNN - corrected her error. I would not recommend this doctor at all. She violates HIPAA and had no concern about my son being able to breath.
