Dr. Candice Ann Thornton, MD

Dr. Thornton works at MD360 for Prisma Health. I am also a Prisma Health employee, and a medical professional. First impression of this doctor, was to hear her loudly mocking the issues I was having. She was outside of the room, I was inside the room...and heard everything she said. The nurse tried to stand up for me, and validate my concerns to her, but she carried on judging me and degrading me before even meeting me. She should honestly be fired. I received no care from her, although the facility has the equipment that I needed for them to do a quick diagnostic work up, and was sent away and shamed for coming there in the first place. I have placed a formal complaint with her employer.

Will be filing my SECOND complaint on this doctor tomorrow! Works in urgent care. When I arrived I asked which doctor was there. Was given a different name but she is the one who ended up seeing my son. I should have refused based on previous experience and my previously filed complaint but he was sick and I wanted him seen. Again, a worthless visit with no treatment which then required another visit 2 days later to a different office. Seeing this doctor is throwing money in the trash. You will leave have been treated horribly and received ZERO medical treatment.

I saw Dr. Thornton in urgent care. She was rude did not listen. I have a documented condition that makes me highly sensitive to body temperature changes yet Dr. Thornton insisted that 100 is not a fever and at one point even said to me "DON'T even say it....it's NOT a fever" as I tried to explain my condition.
