Summary
I was born in Costa Rica, and came to Tacoma when I was almost 11 years old. I consider this my home. I married my high school sweetheart, an Assemblies of God pastor. We have two children. The inspiration to become an optometrist came from my husband's diagnosis of keratoconus when he was 22 years old. I am co-director of the optometry resident program at Kaiser Permanente.
