She and her nurse are wonderful at their jobs!

I posted this review once before, but for some reason it was removed. The doctor is excellent. Her nurse is rude. Her office manager is abusive, both verbally and physically. I have the police report.

Dr. Ackland herself is very nice, if a bit of a pill pusher, but the group itself is more interested in selling supplements and scheduling seminars. Her assistant is rude, dismissive, and does not seem to possess even the most minimal listening skills. The office staff is rude to the point of being abusive. I would suggest staying far, far away from this group.

I have been with Dr. Ackland for 20 some odd years and have followed her from office to office. She is the BEST! She is friendly, very concerned with my health. GREAT DR.

Staff in back are rude. Front staff are nice. Dr wants you to come in for everything, will not take suggestions from patient about their own health or care. Doesn't seem to believe in ailments that patient presents. Medicates via the system, and what is "typical" not on an individual basis. Extremely hard to establish as new patient, wait was a couple months/ do not waist your time, go to someone younger and more in the know about today's medicine! I quit her only after a few short months and had my previous dr. Until she retired.

I like Dr. Ackland, but I find her assistant to be so abrasive, discourteous and dismissive that I am considering finding a new doctor. It is ridiculously difficult to get or impart information accurately unless you are talking to the doctor in person. There has been more than one time that this has impacted my health.

Dr. Ackland is a very caring and through physician. I have been her patient for many years. She always listens and communicates in a very clear manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ackland for many years. She is a wonderful caring person with a great bedside manner. I never feel rushed during my appointments. I have never had a long wait in the waiting room either! The staff at Great River Medical is also very friendly and helpful.

This is the best doctor I have ever had! I have been a patient many years. She is so thorough, listens, and attends to the issue at hand. I have never been ' blown off' by a problem I have brought to her. She has wide knowledge that I have found even a specialist not to have and is very well informed . I drive over an hour way to see her, she is well worth it !

Dr. Ackland is a doctor with the most amazing bedside manner. She really takes the time to understand your medical history and is very thorough with your appointment. I have diabetes that is out of control and Dr. Ackland is very concerned with follow up visits to make sure we are taking the appropriate course to control my blood sugars. I used to see the doctor many years ago when she was with another medical group, then when she left the group I was not able to follow her for insurance reasons. Several years later, I was able to switch back to Dr. Ackland and she remembered who I was from years ago. I was extremely pleased that she remembered me. That shows her attention to each individual. I highly recommend Dr. Ackland. Every experience has been positive.
