Dr. Cara Lee Culmer, MD

She incorrectly diagnosed me with a pregnancy when I went in complaining of nausea and vomiting. After I told her that I had been suffering from these issues, she told me, self-assuredly that the mostly likely cause was a pregnancy. I was incredulous. I told her the date of my last period (which ended less than a week before). She did not ask me about past sexual history. She just assumed that I was pregnant without any prior tests. She did not take my concerns seriously. As a doctor, you don’t just tell a college student that she’s certainly pregnant without any prior tests. As it turns out her diagnosis was completely incorrect. Very disappointed,l with her, a waste of my time and worry.

It is sooooo refreshing to have Dr. Cara Culmer as my Primary Care Physician. Dr. Culmer really listens to me in a calm knowing manner. She is always professional, yet cordial and confident. I don't feel like I'm imposing on her by asking questions. I'd refer her to anyone because she's just that wonderful and professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Culmer's for almost 15 years. I think Dr. Culmer is an excellent physician. She is thorough, listens and is always on top of analyzing any possible problems that may arise. I fully recommend her to anyone needing a doctor who is really proficient.

I just recently joined Dr. Culmer's practice. My daughter has been her patient and recommended her.Dr. Culmer is cognizant of the patient's time, and runs her practice very efficiently. She is very thorough, and spends time discussing problems.She also has an excellent network for referring the patient for specific needs.I feel fortunate to be her patient.
