Dr. Cara Douglass, DO

Dr. Douglass has been both my and my husband's primary care doctor for at least six years now. She always shows us great respect by listening, advising, and making appropriate suggestions for our health. She shows us she cares and takes interest in our lives. We are in our seventies and appreciate such a concerned young doctor.

My Mother has been going to Cara Douglass for at least 5 years. Her attitude is very blunt and she does not express empathy. Her wording to asked questions or situations leaves a lot to be desired. If I did not know better, I could think she is part Vulcan. Dr. Douglass's staff is efficient, but not warm and fuzzy either. I have witnessed quite a bit of rudeness to other elderly patients. When Dr. Douglass forms an opinion, that's that. Her mind is made up so do not confuse her with the facts. I would never recommend any person to take their elderly parent to her unless they did not mind a physician that's cold and indifferent, unreasonable, and appears to be doing her job with the least amount of time and involvement.
