Dr. Cara Leigh Sacchetti, MD

STAY AWAY! This woman allegedly holds an MD from the University of Maryland, where apparently the bar is set pretty low. I tried to think of one word to sum up my first and only visit with her, and it’s “incompetence.” My family member was forced to have her as a PCP after her previous doctor moved within the practice. To be clear, NO ONE would CHOOSE this person as their doctor. Without getting into too many details, she tried to abruptly take my family member off of a crucial medication. Doing so would have caused severe side effects, including seizures. Anyone with an MD after their name should know this. Thankfully, I was there to advocate for my family member and got the medication issue fixed through a provider who actually knows what they’re doing. Neither my family members nor my friends will ever see this woman again. In addition to nearly causing serious harm to my loved one through her negligence, she’s also one of the most awkward people I’ve ever met—unbearably awkward.… Someone else mentioned this in their review too. How and why someone with her personality chose a profession where you work closely with people is beyond me. Brigham and Women’s should honestly be embarrassed to have her associated with them. I’ve dealt with clueless medical providers before, but Cara Sacchetti takes the cake!

The practice wanted me to switch to Sacchetti when my PCP of over 20 years moved to another role. Sacchetti made comments in my patient portal regarding past treatment without even seeing me, and after reading all the reviews regarding Sacchetti as a doctor, I'll never see her, nor will my family.

Had chest pain and High blood pressure...said I was fine and come back in 3 weeks..no EKG, no labs. I could have been a walking heart attack. Left in tears and very scared. She was cold and couldn't be bothered.

Dr. Sacchetti is the worst PCP I have ever had. She is so awkward and inexperienced... even her NURSE IS EXTREMELY RUDE. Just... stay away from her. trust me, you’ll thank me later.

She is not very personal and I dont even know if she has all my records, she says I need another Colonoscopy, when I just had one. Plus she switched me over to another Doctor without saying why? I guess it is for the best because I don't want to see her again!

Brought our 4yr old son in because of an ear infection. She huffed and puffed when he was hesitant about looking into his ears. No compassion at all. Complained about how and where he was sitting. She was short answered and condescending. Never experienced a doctor this ill suited for their career. We are questioning why she even chose to be a Dr. Doesn’t seem like she cares much about her patients. Thankfully she is not his PCP.

Misdiagnosed, condescending .
