Dr. Carina D Canizares

Raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Canizares graduated from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton after completing a Bachelor’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida.Dentistry for Dr. Canizares is a passion, not just a career. She is a doctor with a broad scope of expertise in many dental procedures, however, she especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry. She relishes helping each of her patients to achieve optimal oral health while delivering the amazing smile that they always wanted!Her meticulousness allows her to thrive in providing beautiful and high-quality dentistry. She keeps herself abreast of innovations, techniques and technologies by taking courses throughout the year. As a doctor, she is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care tailored to each and every single patient that has entrusted her. She sees herself as a healer rather than a fixer and she always has her patients’ best interests in mind.Outside dentistry, Dr. Canizares enjoys …maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. She runs regularly and seeks diversity in her exercise activities. She also likes to give back to the community, having volunteered to provide free dentistry to children. Most recently, she participated in a mission trip to provide free dentistry to 300 patients in Peru. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Pinellas County Dental Association.
