Dr. Carina Lea, though native to Florida now proudly considers New York her home. Before locating to New York, Dr. Lea studied undergrad at University of Pennsylvania, double majoring in Psychology and Biology. She then continued her studies and graduated suma cum laude from one of the largest US dental schools, Temple University school of dentistry. There she was elected to the national dental honor society, OKU. Dr. Lea attended UMDNJ for her residency where she specialized in endodontics. She passed the written national board exam and is board eligible.
Dr. Lea has been nationally awarded for her excellence in dentistry by the American Prosthodontic Society. She was a board member of the AAE and traveled to their annual session to lecture on her published research.
Carina enjoys the Big City life and brings that level of excitement and energy to her practice. She has an uncanny way of making root canals a pleasurable experience and considers it a job well done when …the patient leaves feeling better and with the confidence of receiving excellent care.
