She's very straight forward and knows what's she's doing.

I waited hours only to have her be rude and condescending at EVERY appointment. Even worse, she sent me out for tests that I had to pay out of pocket for and then refused to go over the results. I've been seeing her for several months and there has been zero progress of any kind. Not even helpful information. Several months and zero treatment! She schedules redundant appointments where nothing new happens, gets discussed, OR done. She's never prescribed any meds yet she requires a urine test at every visit. Seems I like an abuse of Medicare funds to me. Keeps pushing the same expensive procedures that have failed in the past for me. I can't help but to feel she's more concerned with her wallet than my health. Looking for a new doctor!

If you're looking for a compassionate, caring & respectful doctor, you're looking in the wrong place! By far the most abrasive & condescending doctor I've ever seen. It's painfully obvious that she's far more concerned about her bank account than she is her patients health. A quick search on "dollars for docs" will show you she's in it for the $$$ as opposed to what's best for the patient. In addition to being abrasive & condescending, she has said & done numerous things that lead me to believe she is deceptive and manipulative as well. She finagled several pointless appointments out of me where the only thing that was done, was her getting paid. She also sent me out for expensive out of pocket tests, & then refused to go over the results with me! Sadly, that isn't the half of it. And after the way she spoke to me at my last appointment, I will never go back! Save yourself the misery... If you want quality healthcare from a kind & caring physician... go elsewhere!

I have been a patient of Dr Carissa Stone(Tampa FL) for 5 years. I was in an automobile accident in 2014 and have seen many Drs, but she is by far the best! She thoroughly examines the issues your having, listens and focuses on your whole health, gives a diagnosis with detailed explanation (as well as alternative options),and treats you with the upmost compassion & care. She is incredibly knowledgeable & stays up to date on the best treatment techniques, medications, etc. She is what I imagine every Dr. should strive to be! She genuinely takes the time she needs with her patients to deliver high quality healthcare and give them a better quality of life!

DR STONE WORKS WITH SS/DIS TO SABOTAGE PEOPLE SHE TOLD ME I HAD CANCER IN 12-16 THEN SHE CLAWED MY CHEST WHILE I WAS GETTING INJECTIONS SHE MADE ME GET, (I WAS PUT UNDER) I DIDN'T WANT TO GET THEM SHE THREATENED ME, AND TOLD ME I HAD TO GIVE HER SOMETHING IN ORDER TO GET PAIN MEDS, AFTER I CONFRONTED HER, SHES SAID I DID THEM, I'VE HAD INJECTIONS FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS, NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT BEFORE, CRAZY IDIOT, I CONFRONTED HER, AND SHE THEN SAID I DID THE SCRATCHES THEN TOLD THEM I DID IT, SHE IS RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL IDIOT, TRYING TO ACT LIKE A PSYCHIATRIST. DON'T GO YOU'LL REGRET IT SHE LEFT ME WITHOUT PAIN MED'S AFTER I WENT THERE, SHE CLAIMS SHE WAS SWITCHING THEM FOR ME, FOR BETTER PAIN RELIEF, ONLY TO PURPOSELY LEAVE ME WITHOUT, I COULDN'T STAND HER, PLEASE DON'T GO IF YOUR SUFFERING IN PAIN WITH INJURIES, I HAVE A NECK AND LUMBAR FUSION, SHE WORKS AGAINST HER PATIENTS, , GETTING PAID BONUSE'S BY INSURANCE COMPANIES, DON'T GO, VERY RUDE LADY SHES NO DR. TRUST… ME, YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU GO AND EXPERIENCE WHAT I DID.SPREAD THE WORD, SHE DESTROY'S PEOPLE, AND LIWS ABOUT HEM BECUASE SHE IS GETTING PAID TO DO SO BY THE INSURANCE COMPANIES, TRUST ME TRUST ME! I didn't know there were still doctors like Dr. Stone. Every visit, she takes as much time as necessary to meet my needs and concerns. She even saw me within 24 hours when I called when I was sick, not even sure if it was related to my implanted pump or chronic pain. And the icing on the cake--her staff is as good as she is!

I've only seen the actual dr once. They do not give an accurate reading of test results. Mine were minimized greatly. The nurse practitioner is very nice, but Dr. Stone only sees you on the first visit. However, if you agree to injections which is her main goal, you will be treated much nicer. I previously read my MRI reports and a few of the findings can only be corrected with surgery and all of which is accompanying with moderate to severe pain. She gave me the same medication for pain as the methadone clinics give. Her DNA proved I had no previous narcotic issues. I'm very dissatisfied with her.

I've been was suffering constant severe chronic pain since a 1988 car accident. I've been to more so-called pain management doctors than I can count, none were willing or able to help. I felt hopeless, depressed and close to being suicidal. Then my nurse case manager brought me to Dr. Carrisa Stone. She gave me my life back. She genuinely cares about her patients, takes time to listens to us, extremely knowledgeable and well versed on newest treatment options. Dr. Stone works hard to help find the best treatment method(s) to help control each of her patients pain. She's so passionate about helping her patients, she'll go to bat for them, even when insurance companies try to fight her on these treatments that's best for us. Now that she has a nurse practitioner on staff, if you don't need to see Dr. Stone and just need meds refilled,wait time is a lot less. I could go on and on about Dr. Stone on how grateful I am to her for all she has done for me. If you suffer chronic pain, I have… three words for you, Doctor Carissa Stone!!
