Dr. Carl Franklin Ansevin, MD

Canceled three straight appointments and now I can’t get the results. He tries to bill patients without ever contacting insurance. His office is run terribly. Avoid this guy!

I was thinking of changing neurologists, so I went to him. After two visits, I decided to never step foot in his office again. During the first visit, he would hardly address my neuromuscular disease, which is why I went to him. Instead, he talked politics by trying to get me to vote for his preferred candidate, and he focused on my weight. He did have me undergo a sleep study. During my second visit he again would not address my disease, but opted instead to again focus on weight and a nutrition conference he was going to attend. Every time I wanted to talk about my disease, he changed the subject. I even wanted to discuss the lack of positive changes that he said using a CPAP would bring about. He would not address that either. All of this happened a few years ago, but it has taken me this long to calm down where he is concerned. He needs to retire.

Dr. Ansevin took excellent care of my father. He was kind and courteous and did a very thorough examination. He then took the time to explain his problems and potential treatments. We were very satisfied with his care -- and would highly recommend Dr. Ansevin as a caring and compassionate physician.
