Dr. Carl William Bacon, MD

I am a caregiver and escorted a patient to Dr. Bacon after a break in upper spine. Every visit the wait time was 2 hours or more and we had appointments at 8 am! Most times, after those waits, we only saw an assistant. The back brace didn't didn't fit, kept sliding up and choking her, patient had dementia, and my concerns were swept away because when they asked her how she felt she'd say "Fine". Patent fell several more times and ended up being admitted to hospital 5 months later. At the hospital the second time the Ortho said the brace wasn't doing any good because it wasn't isolating the part of the spine that was broken. We switched to a new doctor due to incompetence and the patient fared much better.

I waited two hours and fourty five minutes to see the Dr. and after describing my symptoms (weakness, numbness and pain) he stood me up, lightly shook my shoulders and declaired a diagnosis of degenratie disk disease. He refused a MRI stating "that would imply that there was something to look for". He left the room after 3 minutes, had his nurse prep me and later returned to give me an injetion and orders for PT. A MRI by another Dr. indicates multiple "severe" problems that require surgery.

I have been seeing Dr Bacon for over 18 years now for my spine. He has always been so helpful and taken the time to really address my spinal health. I thank him for his help and keeping me able to keep moving.

Not with my time to even explain. I just want everyone to know that there isn't any consideration for your time or wishes with this Dr and his staff. Gives a poor name to Dr.'s.

We were referred to Dr. Bacon from the emergency room after my son broke his arm. We had 3 follow up appointments. We waited at least an hour and fifteen minutes each time we went and only saw the doctor at our last appointment, for less than a minute. After waiting for over an hour, he came in for less than a minute! Worst service. He had no time to address any questions or concerns we had.

This doctor is rather arrogant and tells you how you feel rather than listening to how you actually feel. Be cautious when considering him.
