Dr. Hampf recently did a fusion on my lo back and I could not have asked for a better outcome. He is straight to the point, honest, and it’s obvious that he is extremely dedicated to his patients. His nurse Racheal is one of the best nurses that I have encountered in 25+years. The other lady that works in his office (I can’t remember her name) leaves a lot to be desired. she can be extremely rude and unprofessional. Front desk staff is always very friendly and courteous. The billing department is almost impossible to get in touch with and if you have an issue or complaint, the practice manager is no use, so don’t waste your time. If I were basing my review purely on Dr. Hampf and his nurse, I would not hesitate to return to him for care in the future.

Best Dr Ever

Dr. Hampf has been my surgeon for 23 years. He is kind, caring, and very good at what he does for me, which is operate on the spine. I am aware that criticism I read was focused on the amount of time spent with patients, but as everyone knows now, Medicare restricts the amount of time any doctor can spend with a patient. If he were allowed more time, he would spend it. As with any surgeon, he is conservative with surgery,, and usually, it is a last resort.

Inadequate exam, insensitive demeanor, rushed down the hall rapidly popping in and out of recheck appointments spending no meaningful time with patients, sent me to the incredibly low quality in-house PT clinic which was strictly a revenue stream for the practice. Once I started to get the bills and began seeing the ridiculous fees, especially for the visits to the argumentative physical therapist, I stopped going there.

My experiences with Dr. Hampf were the best I've had with any doctor! He cared for my husband for 11 1/2 years and I am so glad he was his doctor. He was a caring professional, as well as a friend. He didn't always say what we wanted to hear but he was always honest and caring. He is an excellent surgeon! I will always love Dr.Hampf for the wonderful care he gave my husband and the concern he had for me and my family.

I read so many wonderful things about this doctor that I really had my hopes high for this appointment that I would find some help finally from a dr that cared. He walked in and did not even do a full basic neurologic exam. While I cried he shook my hand and left the room! Luckily I had a second opinion that so far has seemed to actually care about me and the fact that I can't even take care of my children anymore.

Dr Hampf is one on of the top surgeons in Nashville, who cares about is patients. When my insurance provider refused to approve the surgery, Dr Hampf took time out of his busy schedule to deal directly with them to resolve the issue. I will always be grateful for his help, the two level spinal fusion was a success. Dr Hampf gave me my life back! Thank you Dr Hampf!

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to in my entire life. Does not care about yuo after he is done collecting. Refused to even see me after surgery, due to - cannot do anything else for me!
