Dr. Carl Daniel Laughlin, MD

I have had procedures performed by Dr Laughlin over the last 20 years. I just had a full face lift and am just in awe of the results! Having a life long birth defect that left my face a bit asymmetrical, all I can say is I wish I would have done this years ago! The man is a artist! He also is very down to earth! I’d never trust anyone else but him, ever! All I can say is Thank You! You can put your trust in him! He has changed my life!

I have been a patient of Dr. Laughlin's for 20 years. I have had many surgeries, i.e. abdominalplasty, breast reduction, liposuction, and most recently a coronal brow lift. I had a serious complication after my abdominalplasty which was no fault of my physicians. Dr. Laughlin took excellent care of me during this time and once my body was healed, he did the procedure again until the incision was perfect. He is a kind, caring physician who truly cares about his patients. He is extremely honest when you go to him for a consult, and he takes time to make sure you understand the potential benefits and disadvantages of every procedure. With any cosmetic surgery, it is important that you have reasonable expectations. His staff is wonderful and his facility is immaculate. Dr. Laughlin is an excellent surgeon and I would never dream of seeing any one else but him.

I had horrific results. He was willing to do it over for a third time but insisted that I pay for the surgery room and anastegioligist! He had a very bad attitude!!!! I never and would never go to that practice again!

I was a first time surgery patient. I have had 2 procedures done by Dr. Laughlin, I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon!!! He, his staff, and all nurses were very helpful and friendly. Their countenance assured me I would be ok! My bedside nurse ( Amy ) was AMAZING! If you're looking for a GREAT surgeon, Dr. Laughlin is it! It's very clean, prompt, and everyone is very knowledgable about what they are doing!!!!!

I cannot say enough Wonderful things about Dr. Laughlin and his Amazing Staff!! A little over a year ago I had to have emergency surgery due to my colon rupturing and it resulted in a temporary colostomy and ultimately a reversal. I was left with multiple hideous scars, stomach bulging and hernias, although I was alive and so grateful for this. But the pain from the hernias and the psychological pain and negative impact on my self -esteem was profound. From the very moment I met Dr. Laughlin and his caring staff, I knew he was the surgeon for me, especially since he was a general surgeon as well as a plastic surgeon. He was not only extremely professional but also patient, incredibly caring and had a great sense of humor as well! He explained everything to me about the abdominoplasty/scar revision and gave me confidence all along the way that everything would turn out okay. After the surgery, I had some complications due to my prior surgeries and circulation issues (none of… which had anything to do with him!!) that required further treatment. He and his staff took such great care of me that I always knew everything would turn out okay. The end result of this surgery was absolutely Incredible!! I never dreamed that he or anyone could make me look or feel like my "old" self again (but EVEN better!!). You would never know I had all those prior surgeries and scars...he got rid of practically every one of my scars except a teeny tiny one and I look and feel GREAT!!! He and his staff made me feel whole/normal again and gave me my self- esteem back! I am forever profoundly grateful to them all. If you need a plastic surgeon, look no further than Dr. Laughlin at Plastic Surgery Specialists!!! He is the absolute BEST and so is his STAFF!!!! I have worked with this doctor many times over the years and have always been very pleased with the results. He was the first doctor at his practice to use a pain pump after my tummy tuck - although, based on patient experience - the other surgeons in his practice now do so as well. I was delighted with the pain pump which provided a lidocaine drip on a continuous basis (non narcotic) into the site and kept me virtually pain free without having to use many of the prescribed pain killers. His staff are all very professional and I always feel that I am in safe hands! I can highly recommend Dr. Laughlin.

As a registered nurse and widow of a general surgeon I would like to share words about being a patient of Dr. Laughlin. Both he and his staff have repeatedly demonstrated exemplary qualities throughout the time of treating me. The enti8re staff is professional & experienced. I was sent a lengthly consent form informing me of the risks incurred during surgery. I was asked to read the form, initial each page and bring it with me to my pre-op meeting. At the pre-op meeting the nurse asked me to re-read the form & re-initial it. The form is lengthly,descriptive & helpful. Dr Laughlin prepared me well w expectations the day of surgery, during & after surgery and thwe possible risks. He answered my questions fully & to my satisfaction. He instilled confidence in me w his level of expertise, skilled medical knowledge & hands. I felt well prepared & confident I was in excellent hands being w Dr Laughlin & his staff. The surgery went as planned &the results are nothing short of… magical--very natural looking --almost air-brushed.

I had the pleasure of having Dr Laughlin perform my abdominoplasty and augment. Not only was I very satisfied with the amazing result I received, I also felt he was the most caring and attentive surgeon I have ever experienced. Dr Laughlin went above and beyond my expectations and his post operative care and attention to detail was second to none. I am 4 weeks PO from my Rhinoplasty and I am so happy already! Everything was exactly how Dr. Laughlin and his staff explained it would be!
