Dr. LeBuhn completed Medical School at the University of Iowa, where he is originally from. After completing his residency, he was promoted to Chief Resident for Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital, where he then completed his fellowship for Infectious Diseases. He taught three years at the University of Iowa in the Division of General Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Dr. LeBuhn has spent the last ten years providing outpatient Infectious Disease consultations through a private practice in Paducah while also providing inpatient Infectious Disease consultations at both Baptist Health Paducah and Lourdes Hospitals. He also provides HIV-AIDS care at Heartland Cares Clinic in Paducah, Kentucky. Dr. LeBuhn is married to Dr. Polly LeBuhn (Internal Medicine) and has three children.

Just want who ever to know that if Dr. LeBuhn was not as great as a Doctor as he is I would not be able to fill out this survey, which I hate doing. The overall care given in his office is amazing. When you are going to the doctor for whatever is bothering you, you tend to come nervous and scared well that does not happen there they treat you like you are part of the family and truly wants your experience to go smoothly.

I have been seeing Dr LeBuhn for the last 7 years and the fact I am still alive speaks volume. But he also cares which is rare among drs. To him I am a person and not just another statistic.

Narrow minded. Thinks because Lyme disease is not in the area, there is no way a patient living in Kentucky could contact Lyme. There is documented proof that there is Lyme in W. KY, not to mention people do travel to other areas of the country as well as people from Lyme infested areas travel to W KY.

My wife was hospitalized with a fever following her most recent chemo treatment and was referred to Dr. Lebuhn to find out the source of the fever. Dr. Lebuhm took a real interest in her case. He was at the hospital at 5:00 a.m. the first morning he had the case and explaining to us what he was going to do. When he found out the we had a cruise planned for the following week he set the gears in motion for us to receive the proper medical care while we were gone. I was very impressed with him and thank him for all he did for us.
