I am in a 12 program to help you eat healthy, and loose weight. I have not had Dr. Carl as a doctor but am very pleased to read that he refers his patients to FA (Food Addicts In Recovery Anonymous). This group has been extremely helpful to many all over the world. IT is free and has worked for many when nothing else worked; even bypass surgery. M. Blanchard Portland , Maine Miracles are truely happening in FA every day all around the world. And there are phone meetings as well for those who can't find face to face meetings in the part of the world they live in.

Dr. Lowe never made me feel as though I was some morbidly obese freak show. He spoke to me with kindness, respect and humanity. He answered all my questions, gave me the hard facts and told me he was only giving me a tool to help with weight, the hard part was going to be up to me to change my heart and head....Dr. Lowe has the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. He was respectful of my religious beliefs and allowed me to pray with him prior to surgery. (that was everything for me)

It's hard to find genuinely caring doctors now days so I really want to share his info. He done my gastric bypass and I couldn't be happier. He was attentive, answered all my questions and truly seemed to care about how I was doing. Call my home just to check on me, how many docs do that nowadays. Would do it again in an instant.

Dr Lowe was nothing but super professional at all times, very knowledgeable and a highly respected surgeon. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending his brilliant skills

I have no complaints about the actual surgery; but aftercare here is nonexistent. If you have multiple diseases that need watching after surgery, this is not the doctor for you.

I am a 64 year young woman who has been overweight all her life. Sometimes a low weight (190) to (240) at my highest. I was sick of being fat and ready to do Whatever it took surgical wise to get help with my constant desire for food. I did NOT have a full button. I am 5 days out from getting a Lap Band placed and already I am angry with myself that I didn't have this done years ago!!! After watching my daughter who has battled with her weight all of her 38 years get the lap band placed and a wonderful result of 110 lbs lost in 2 years. She has been my cheerleader to get this done ! I can not say enough about DR.LOWE. To his credit, he is the VERY BEST of what a Surgeon should be. CONCERNED, GIVING OF HIS TIME AND UPLIFTING. I WILL ALWAYS TELL EVERYONE I TALK TO THAT IS INTERESTED IN WEIGHT LOSS TO GO SEE THE ONE AND ONLY...DR.CARL LOWE.........PS, THIS IS NOT A PAID ADVERTISEMENT !!!!!
