Dr. Carl Andre Nicoleau, MD

I selected this doctor based on reviews found online. But after going 3 times, never saw this doctor once but different Nurse Practitioners only. Their policy insisted that you make an in person appointment for your blood work report, even for a follow up blood test. They only open at 9am, close on Sat and alternative Fri. Who has the time?? Let alone it's still pandemic. Plus, when you call, 9 out of 10 no answer and no one will ever call you back if you leave a message.

DR. NICOLEAU IS THE HORRIBLE DOCTOR HIS STAFF IS RUDE AND INEPT. HE WANTS EVERY PERSON THAT COMES TO HIS OFFICE TO HAVE A SLEEP TEST - WHICH HE GETS PAID A LOT FOR. RIP OFF ARTIST!!

He is the best PCP in town . He is attentive and by far cares so much about his patients . He doesn't rush you out and actually cares which is why the wait is sometimes long . He is the only PCP I trust and wouldn't recommend him if I didn't . Just a well rounded internal medicine MD.

Dr. Nicoleau's office is NOT in the most ideal or "pretty" location for me. However, I found his availability via Zocdoc.com, a long 15-block walk away. His bedside manner is top-notch. And unlike my previous PCP (primary care provider), he is non-judgemental, respectful, informative, patient, and very easy-going -- something that makes it MUCH easier for anyone to be completely honest about their health issues and/or concerns. He's a human being, interested in the human factor. He's unlike most "rushed, God-like" body mechanics: he takes his time, and this professionalism in the form of kindness spills over into the demeanor of his amazing staff -- from the front desk to his P.A.'s. After my third visit, after shaking his hand many times, thanking his warm hand, I told him "I would like to change my current PCP and have you as my PCP." His response? "I would only feel so honored." And for you ladies you out there? He did my yearly PAP: he was very, very gentle; he took his time… to explain exactly what was about to happen and before it happened, asked at every step of the process (a process we all know): "Are you OK with this? I don't want to hurt you. I'm trained not to hurt you, but every patient is different." He was very quick with the unpleasantries of the yearly necessary we all have to go through, making engaging conversation along the way. His meeting with you prior to (and his follow up after) every exam is fully clothed, which speaks to his understanding of your need for dignity as well as to be heard. This guy will hear you. First-rate. Don't let the location fool you.

Service was excellent. Dr. Nicoleau takes time with you treating & evaluating your concerns. .

Dr., Nicola has been our doctor since 2000 how ever now that he move to new location, it is very displeasing and it is very hard to see the dr. the new doctors assistants, see the patients, I don't think they take the time to read the previous visits or medications change medications without explaining why or for what, if you call the office it takes a good 10 minutes before you get some one on the phone when you do they put you on hold finally when they get to you it is impossible to speak with the doctor they claim dr. is with a patients he will return the call, but he does not. and when you get a call back from any one in the office is at the end of the day if any. or you just don't get a call back Dr. Nicoleau probably continues to be a good doctor however one can not say the same in regards to the service or courtesy of the new staff they make sound it would be easier to speak to the … president than to Dr. Nicoleau it really is ridiculous the a patient or patients family member call for the doctor and one can not get pass the reception desk unless is extremely urgent or so they said. very unhappy!!!!

Dr. Nicoleau has been my physician for over a decade and I have always had good communication with him. He will exhaust every avenue, going the extra mile for his patients when it comes to their care. The only downside of the practice is the wait time to see him, but he has a good side practice so that is to be expected.

I have been going to Dr. Nicoleau for many years now and I have finally decided to throw in the towel. Raising my white flag and all!! I cannot emphasize how much this clinic lacks in professionalism. Twice I had to go in for double blood work on separate occasions. My husband went in ONCE and had to go in a second time because his blood work was done inaccurately as well. We received excuses such as "we are not sure why we did not request...." the proper blood work. Had I not had insurance I would have been charged 4 times for blood work, and my husband twice for his. Upon arriving at the clinic make sure you have set aside approximately 5 hrs because you more than likely will be there for that long! Doctors, nurses and staff spend half the time chatting amongst each other rather than seeing patients. Hence the reason for the incorrect blood work (if they are really mistakes, to me it just seems like they enjoy charging the insurance providers) During my husband's general check up… lots of blood work was done after his second visit to Redo his blood work I called in to find out the results. So I learned that "clinic policy" refrains results from being released without ANOTHER appointment. Again, another bill for the insurance provider. After talking on the phone with an extremely rude "doctor" named Dina she finally gave me my husband's results. My final straw, this past Friday I called in for a referral I was told it would be faxed over before Monday which is the date of the appointment with the specialist. Here I am rescheduling said appointment because the referral was never faxed. Over all this place lacks on a serious level much professionalism. Be prepared to go in for double blood work as well as a loooong wait time. Calling the insurance to change this PCP instantly!!!!

YOU ARE A DOCTOR THAT REALLY SEEMS TO CARE. WHICH SEEMS SO RARE OF LATE. GLAD WE FOUND YOU.
