Dr. Carl M Reed, MD

Dr. Reed is an undeserving arrogant incompetent doctor (using the term loosely). He made a correct diagnosis, but when his recommended treatment failed, he called my daughter non-compliant. He told her to increase fluids. She did exactly what she was told to do and even documented the fluid increase. When we returned, he accused her of lying about the fluid increase and said to follow through next time. Next appointment same thing however we'd had enough of his arrogant nonsense. We went to another doctor, Dr. Eason, who performed a test that Dr. Reed refused to perform (recommended by another specialist) and from this, an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan is being established. I would recommend avoiding this doctor at all costs.

The front desk help was AWFUL. Very rude and inappropriately loud when discussing private patient matters. If I have to drive to Tampa for a pediatric heart doctor I will. Doctor spent less than 5 minutes in the room.

We were visiting the US and our 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Dr Reed saw us the same day (depite him being on vacation!). He was excellent, very informative and was wonderful with our daughter.
