Dr. Carl Hans Rose, MD

I was a patient of Dr.Rose in Austin at the beginning of his career. He treated me for a miscarriage and then the birth of my first daughter. That was 16 years ago and I still tell stories about Dr.Rose. He was amazing .... Bed side manner, genuine kindness, a true empathetic professional physician. My only sadness comes from the fact that he's no longer in Austin, TX.

My husband and I recently went through a traumatic event with our pregnancy. Our daughter was chromosomally abnormal and did not make it. Dr. Rose was there every step of the way. He explained everything thoroughly, was very empathetic throughout and was with us during every test. I would highly recommend Dr. Rose for any woman who is having a difficult pregnancy. He will support you and care for you no matter what situation you are in or what decisions you may need to make. We just had our 6 week follow-up appointment. Dr. Rose was so kind and understanding. I could never say enough good things about him. Thank you Dr. Rose. You've helped us through one of the most difficult times in our lives.

Great. Experienced and takes the time to explain everything, which is really important when you are experiencing a difficult pregnancy (which is scary)! Do not listen to the 'abortion' talk of the reviews.. they are written by extremist who have taken things way out of context.

Dr. Rose is an abortionist. He works with pregnant women, without them knowing that he is an abortionist. He tells them everything that could possibly be wrong with them and is suggestive of abortion. Franciscan Healthcare, a Catholic hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin, allows him to work with pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies, without letting them know that he is an abortionist.

Dr. Rose has a charm about him which makes you like him from the start, but after our experiences with him, he left us disgusted. We met Dr. Rose for the first time at our 20 week ultrasound. He said that there was a mark on our baby's heart which could be a sign that he has downs syndrome and made it clear that abortion was an option for us to consider. We immediately told Dr. Rose that it did not matter to us - we'd love him the same, even if he had downs syndrome. Dr. Rose took note of the fact that this was baby number 8 for us, and it was evident that he thought we had too many. He went on to e-mail us information about our options, including "pregnancy termination ". Later in my pregnancy, I experienced maternal complications and was medflighted to Rochester. Dr. Rose, to the surprise of other doctors and nurses, seemed to have no interest in treating my baby whose life was at risk. He blew off obvious signs of a severe placental abruption and did not care to treat me. … It was the most difficult experience we have ever been through, and in the end, we were lucky that baby survived. Baby was born a year ago. I am still having a difficult time getting over the trauma that we went through, trying to save our baby's life when Dr. Rose refused to treat us. Our baby was born with birth defects which could have been prevented, had he received the standard care that should have been provided. Of course, baby does not have downs syndrome, and his heart is perfectly normal.

Dr. Rose is AMAZING!! I had a very complicated pregnancy and was admitted due to pre-term labor and abruptions. Dr. Rose has phenomenal bedside manner and explains things in a way that is very easy to understand. He never rushed through an appointment and he answers all of my questions honestly. Since delivering my first child, I have chose to continue to see Dr. Rose and drive the two hours to Rochester to do so. He is helping me through my second pregnancy at this time and I feel very very comfortable with him!!!

DR ROSE IS THE BEST.I HAD 5 MISSCARRIAGES WAS TOLD I WOULD NEVER HAVE ANY MORE KIDS AND BECAUSE OF DR ROSE I HAVE A HEALTHY 8 YEAR OLD BOY.I WAS TREATED BY DR ROSE IN AUSTIN,TX THANK YOU DR.ROSE
