Easy to write a script practice manager fired for stealing and having felonies on her record. DEE was bad news... He is a good dr just poor judgement with office employees the worst I've ever encountered. Try and get your primary to take care of you. Monthly visits are a hassle and not worth it. You have to take shots so he can cover his scripts .

Watch out I he’s so overwhelmed he’s making mistakes and you might take the brunt of it.

I have been going to dr. Carl Shapiro for more than 5 years. I find him to be very friendly, professional and more importantly, he knows exactly what he's doing. I had surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in 2017 and I spent seven months there recuperating from the surgery that they did. Dr. Shapiro handles my pain better than they did in the hospital. I think he is the best doctor I've ever been to.

He is an excellent doctor, excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him to everyone

Worst doctor experience - definitely stay away from this doctor. Have been having neck pains and heard so much positive about Dr Shapiro. Spent so much effort to schedule time with the greatly-reviewed Dr Shapiro. Then had to wait for 2 hours in the office because he is so busy. Finally was told that someone else will see me, not Dr Shapiro. That doctor spent just a 5 mins with me - told me to come back when my pain is at the highest level and said that he cannot do anything at that moment. Did not even suggest anything. Sent me home basically with nothing. And now received the bill for their service worth $700. Definitely stay away.

Dr. Shapiro is by far the best pain Dr around. He's caring n is genuinely concerned n very compassionate He has helped me so much. He treats u like a person. He also has a great personality n that helps. We'll worth the long drive to see him.

Dr Shapiro is top notch and so is the nurse practitioner Dr Wolfe. Dr Shapiro is extremely smart and I believe he actually taught Drs as a Professor for years. He will help you with your pain but junkies beware because you will get Urine tested and even mouth swab which you can’t cheat on. I noticed another person (who probably got discharged for failing a drug test) call him a pill mill, nothing could be further from the truth also don’t waste your time if you can’t pass a mouth swab or urine test every month. Dr Shapiro is Old School and likes respect and honesty and really worked with me as my money was tight when I fought for my disability because I was straight up with him. I have been to 4 other Pain Dr. By far Dr. Shapiro is the best. Very caring, treats u like a human being, explains everything. Has helped me more then the other 4.

finally after months to get in to see dr. Shapiro I had to deal with his office staff before seeing him. after making repeating phone calls for a question I had no one ever called me back. I got lucky one time and someone picked up the phone and her response was " I do not know" she was to check on it and get back with me. she never did. what a shame. dr. Shapiro is probably a good dr. but I will never know. I will not go to an office that does not help, are rude and do not return phone calls.
