Dr. Carl Peter Stamm, MD

After I was prepared to be wheeled into the procedure room, Doctor Stamm came in and introduced himself. He went over with me the procedure I was about to undergo. He answered all of my questions and was very friendly. He took all the time you needed and did not seem to be in a hurry. He told me he would talk to me again before the procedure which he did. He put me at ease. Afterwards, he came in after I was dressed again and told me exactly what he had found and had a prescription phoned in to address my problem. I even received photographs of the area in question. Again, very friendly and most knowledgable. This practice operates like a well-oiled machine and everyone was extremely pleasant and knew what they were doing. I recommend this practice (and this doctor) most highly.

If you need to have and endoscopy or a colonoscopy, he's your man. In fact I can't say enough good things about Dr. Stamm and his staff at Carolina Mountain Gastroenterology in Hendersonville, NC. They know what they're doing and they do it well, all the way from the reception desk to the procedure room. They treated me very well and from what I saw, everyone else the same. You can't help feeling a little apprehensive when have a procedure that involves anesthesia buy my endoscopy went off without a hitch due to the profession treatment that I had. I would recommend Carolina Mountain GE to anyone (especially to someone I liked).

His lack of professionalism, his inability to communicate was total and complete and it was obvious that his goal was not to solve the issues of my symptoms but instead to generate financial revenue as quickly as possible for himself. I was extremely disappointed in his performance and would not recommend this doctor to anyone!

Office staff is very poor at returning phone calls promptly.Expect up to 2-5 days. Also felt the doctor didn't spend enough time looking at my history or listening to my concerns. Seemed over scheduled and not too interested.
