Dr. Carl Warsowe

Be prepared for a long wait!! I now see a different doctor at the same office, much shorter wait time. Dr. Warsowe gave me such choice advice as that I should carry my kid in a sling with me all day and do gardening?!? He also told me I should soak all vegetables in chlorine for 2 hours before eating them!?! Maybe his head was still on his trip overseas or was he messing with me? When my second son was born at Sutter, they were a mess as they moved to a new nursery (2006) and they had labeled my blood type wrong. I know my blood type well but he wouldn't believe me for the longest time. Not even the fact that they had also labeled my son a girl would convince him that I might be right, not the hospital. I changed doctors after that.

We took my daughter in to be seem 3 times in 2 months. We knew something was wrong. She lost weight, was cranky, tired, eating more and still losing weight and also was suffering horrible headaches. The first two times our concerns were dismissed and he told me I was be over worrisome. Kids go thru growth spurts lose weight and have phases of behavior issues. The third time we took her in she had vomited and had a horrible headache. He diagnosed our daughter at age 7 with her first migraine. I knew that something wasn't right. We drove 6 hours to spend time with family (one of which is an ICU nurse) and our daughter was hospitalized for type 1 diabetes after a family member recognized the symptoms and tested her blood sugar. We were lucky our daughter did not go into a coma or have seizures. Turns out a simple finger poke (blood glucose test) would have diagnosed her disease months before. I was not an over worrisome mother. Dr Warsowe does not listen to his patients, he dismisses… them.

He sometimes is late, but will spend as much time with you as you need.He has a slide show on the computer screen of his world travels that makes the wait OK.
