I have taken my daughter to Dr.Bauman for several years in a row. She is a very competent, approachable and caring doctor.

Don’t waste your money or time! Rushed appt. rude and not knowledgeable at all! I wasted my money and time and will be going to another dermatologist for my 4 year old. Don’t trust her

I have been seeing Dr. Bauman for over a year for an unusual and difficult autoimmune skin condition. Dr. Bauman was recommended to me by a physician from the UW hospital. I am so grateful to have had this referral. Dr. Bauman from the beginning was careful, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable. She immediately ordered some labs and confirmed the problem for this condition that had gone undiagnosed and improperly diagnosed after a month long stay at the hospital (and a rotating team of doctors dismissing and minimizing what turned out to be a potential fatal condition). Throughout this stressful process what I am most grateful for is Dr. Bauman's compassion and concern about addressing the misery of the illness and focusing on improving quality of life. These words and actions were such an incredible comfort and dose of hope during a traumatic time. Her professional medical network has also been a fortuitous benefit as she was able to communicate directly with other members of… my medical treatment team. I cannot recommend Dr. Bauman highly enough.

I've always had terrific care with Dr Bauman and staff, I'm surprised that some of the ratings are low. She's not a chatty Dr and that may rub some people wrong but she's an excellent Dr. She always takes the time to explain what she will be doing and follows up nicely. I've been very happy with my visits.

I was terribly disfigured by this doctor and her laser treatment. She should clearly not be wielding a powerful machine when she does not know what she's doing. She was not willing to help me have the scarring lessened by another doctor and did not give me a refund for the laser treatment that had caused the scarring. This would have at least helped some with the costs of plastic surgery. I have had one surgery on the scarring. I Amy currently undergoing treatment trying to further reduce the damage.

I was burned terribly by laser treatment with Dr. Bauman. I have had plastic surgery trying to minimize the scarring but will live with two unsightly scars for life. Dr Bauman had an unwillingness to give me the notes for the treatment day, or had not taken any. I have read poor reviews due to rudeness or poor bedside manner. I am much more worried about competence and her unwillingness to take responsibility for her mistakes.

I haven't met a doctor who is more rude, unprofessional and unknowledgeable than her. My wife got acne on her face so we scheduled an appointment with Dr, Bauman. The first appointment was Ok, it lasted about 5 minutes and she gave her two face cream to apply. After two applications of the face cream my wife's face turned red, her facial skin started peeling off and she had this unbearable burning sensation even if she applies water to her skin. She couldn't sleep, eat or even speak because of this. We called Dr. Bauman's office twice but her assistant didn't respond back. We were finally able to set up a follow up appointment but things went south from then onwards. Dr. Bauman was so rude when we were trying to explain the whole situation, she didn't want to listen and she gave me a stare when I tried to speak for my wife as she had trouble speaking. She basically said that you applied too much of the cream(why didn't she show us the right dosage) even when my wife applied a thin… layer. She didn't let me speak and said that she thought I was challenging her, she went to the extent to say that may be your wife shouldn't be using anything on her face(how insensitive) implying that she is not interested in treating her and we should leave. My wife left the building in tears. I would strongly advice against seeing her. Save yourself and your family, go see some other doctor.

Although after a long wait and several "we're running behind" updates, my appointment with the NP Lynn was quite good. She took her time explaining the diagnoses she had for me and her assistant, shawna was very polite and took her time explaining directions on prescriptions. As I was leaving to check out the ladies at the front seemed very rushed and annoyed with how busy they were up front, all I could notice is rolling eyes and heavy sighs about checking people out. Lady with the red hair was completely rude and I even overheard her telling someone on the phone about not having time to talk about something.
