My visit was a disaster! I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to have a second FNA done and informed the office staff of this when scheduling. I drove about an hour to get to the appointment only to find out that "they don't do that." Why was this not communicated prior to the appointment is beyond me. The doctor was kind enough to offer to request results from the previous sample that was taken to provide a second opinion. However, getting the results has been a nightmare. I called the office to get the results and no one knew anything. I was told many different things which left me even more confused and irate. After a 30 minute phone conversation I was told three different things and finally that the doctor wants to schedule another FNA. Isn't that what I originally came in for? I don't understand how this business is still standing.
