She is skilled in her profession and yet down to Earth in a manner that resonates and connects with her patients. She also detected the cancer I had several years ago - even before all of the high-tech machinery. Fortunate is the patient who has her as their physician!

Very well mannered, very calm and easy going, great bedside manner she answers all your questions.

We visited this doctor based on our friend's recommendation. I have lot of negative comments about their clinic and how bad it looks and how suffocated it is. But I would stick on to my pain point. Its been more than 2 months since we visited this doctor and we had followed up at least 10 times to get our test results. Every time we get some crappy response and excuse but not the result. God only know what test she did on my wife. Doctor, if you are reading this review, let me tell I am never going to recommend you to any of my friends.

Dr. LJ, is the best OB/GYN. when I found out I was Pregnant I researched and searched a prayed that I find a good doctor. I've even had an appointment made for another doctor and once I found Dr. LJ, it was one if the best decisions. The staff were super nice and friendly. The office is nice and relaxing. I would recommend Dr. LJ to every pregnant women I come across. She's the best. I wish she was a pediatrician to.

The staff asked for my insurance over the phone, i gave them my correcta info and when i drive 45 minutes there on my day off and sit for 30 minutes filling out my paperwork they call me to the counter to day they dont accept my insurance!

Not only was I (7) months pregnant when I finally got the chance to meet Dr. Louis-Jacques, but she seemed to be on vacation more than fulfilling her appointments. However her staff and her asst. Donna were delightful. At the time I was due, Dr. Louis-Jacques was once again, on vacation and I had a Dr. who I never met before, deliver my baby c-section. Had Dr. Louis-Jacques been more involved in my pregnancy, she would have known my baby was way too big to deliver vaginally. Because she never measured or took proper track of my ever-growing belly, I could have bypassed trying vaginally for over 17 hours, ultimately affecting my health and my newborn baby who swallowed meconium, had to be resuscitated and was in ICU for a week. So much stress that could have been avoided which Im still traumatized by(my son is now 2 years old). I will NEVER return to this Dr. and would strongly recommend you do the same.

I didnt have that experience at all. I had 3 miscarriages before I was able to have my son. I went to Dr. Louis-Jacques after I lost my 1st pregnancy already pregnant with my 2nd. Despite taking precautions, I lost the 2nd one as well. After the 2nd, I went for all the testing she recommended and I was found to have APS, anti-phospholipid syndrome. She referred me to the specialist and I was put on medications and after a rough pregnancy I delivered my son. I remembered how Dr Louis-Jacques' calmness helped me through my pregnancy. She told me she lost I think 4 pregnancies and she made me feel confident that I needed to have faith and keep trying. She doesnt do abortions either. She saw me whenever I had a problem, she never rushed me. A few of my friends go to her and they say the same thing, she is very thorough and very smart. She doesnt make things up. If she's not sure of something, she would call the specialist for his opinion. I have complete faith in her. She talks to you… and she listens. She's very easy going. When I had my baby she made me feel very relaxed. I remembered her telling me that she was there to help me have a safe delivery and if my baby was doing well she would follow my birth plan. My labor was all about me, my husband and my baby. She made it a memorable experience. She even had my husband put his hands on the baby to help deliver my son. My husband was so happy. He still talks about it.

I do not recommend this doctor to anyone!I have had an ectopic pregnancy before, and my ob/gyn at the time advised me to get medical care as soon as I found out I was pregnant again. Unfortunately, my previous ob/gyn was a little too far from me so I went to Dr. Louis-Jacques just for convenience. On the first appointment (Tuesday), she ordered a blood test and did an ultrasound, which showed the pregnancy in the uterus this time (4w5d). From the time we got at the office to the time that we actually met her, it had been an hour. Two days later (Thursday), I came back for a second blood test. On that same day she gave me the results for the first blood test from 2 days ago. My progesterone level was very low, so she put me on oral progesterone pills of 50mg once a day. The next day (Friday) she called me and said I wasn't pregnant anymore, because my hCG and progesterone had gone even lower(5w2d). She asked me to go back on Monday to get another blood test to make sure my hormones were… going down normally. I did the blood test on Monday. On Tuesday, I called her to ask when I would start passing tissues, since I wasn't pregnant anymore. She said I could go in the office and she would give me a suppository that would "speed things up". I went in to get the suppository and she gave me the results of my blood test from the day before (Monday). My hCG went back up, but my progesterone went even lower. Just by looking at the number on the papers, she assumed I had an ectopic. It didn't make sense to me, since we had seen a sac in the uterus a week earlier. She got all angry and didn't know how to explain to me how I could have an ectopic. She based her diagnostic just by looking at numbers! She wanted me to take the suppository anyways, to eliminate the pregnancy wherever it was. At this point, I didn't understand if I had a failed pregnancy in the uterus or a live ectopic. I then requested an ultrasound, and she got even more upset with me. She act like if I was doubting her. And I wasn't yet, I just wanted to see where the ectopic was, so I could tell my fertility doctor for further treatment. She finally decided to send me for an ultrasound at the hospital. That's when we saw that, not only I was still pregnant, but there was a heart beat, in the uterus! Dr. Louis-Jacques wanted me to use some suppository to help me "abort" without even making sure I needed it! She then gave me a prescription of 100mg progesterone to use vaginally once a day. At that point I had lost all trust in Dr. Louis-Jacques, and went back to my original ob/gyn (even though she is far). She gave me a prescription of 200mg progesterone, to use vaginally, twice a day!! Unfortunately, it was too late. I was already bleeding by the time I got to her. I used the suppositories twice a day, for 4 days, but I lost my baby! I believe that if I had started on progesterone a week earlier, from the first time Dr. Louis-Jacques got my first blood test results, none of this would've happened! I know that miscarriages are very commom and somewhat "normal", but I don't think my case was. I had a fine pregnancy in the uterus, with a heart beat 2 days before completing 6 weeks. I don't know why I didn't produce progesterone, but I believe I would still be pregnant today if I had taken it before I started bleeding. Please, if you want to have a good medical care for your pregnancy, go to someone else!!I've learned my lesson: I'll drive all the 25 miles to my original ob/gyn next time I get pregnant!
