Dr. Carlito Dizon Sabandal, MD

My mother who is 65yrs old went into emergency because of slurred speech and an inability to walk or hold her head up. Dr. Sabandal "treated" her for a migraine and discharged her advising her husband to make an appointment with her family doctor. Her husband begged him to admit her because something was terribly wrong (she still couldn't walk and her speech was impaired). He refused and sent them on their way. Three people had to help get her to the car. The Discharge papers showed that they resolve her "migraine". It made no mention of her ACTUAL symptoms (not being able to walk and her slurred speech) Her husband called her family doctor and they squeezed her in two days later (for two days he had to feed her, carry her to the bathroom etc). Her family doctor saw her for less than 5 minutes and admitted her right away and scheduled tests. It was OBVIOUS something was wrong Diagnosis STROKE I had to select a rating but he deserves a negative rating! He may have cost my… mother to never walk again because as we all know the sooner a stroke is treated the better chance to recover.
