Dr. Carlos M Alonso

I have only had two consults with this doctor. He injected me on the second visit even though he mentioned I would feel better next visit it has been the opposite effect. When consulting his staff to get my medical records I was explained by Lucia there were 3 ways to get it. 1) by going in person implying a fee 2) my doctor requesting it with no fee and 3) sending it by mail which I opted and sure enough today 2 days later called to see if it had been sent and what I suspected they did not take any action to do so. This staff is rude, careless and difficult not say impossible to deal with them. Perhaps office manager??? or doctor himself is not aware of this awful treament with patients. Shame !!

I agree that the staff is inefficient the doctor, lacks empathy, knowledge, and too busy to see patients. Not worth waiting months for an appointment and the frustration of no one answering.

Despite staff’s professional service and clean facilities, it is unfortunate that Dr Carlos Alonso lacks interest in his patients, no empathy. He did not perform any visual or physical exam, no written explanation or pamphlet was given to me explaining the type of arthritis I have. Even though I asked multiple questions, Dr Alonso’s answers were vague and short and no physical therapy or basic stretches were suggested during the interim that I cannot start treatment and improve my everyday life. The patients’ plain and empty rooms reflect the lack of educational materials like pamphlets, pictures and body diagrams for patients to understand and educate themselves. Overall experience has been really frustrating.

Disappointing First of all, I think many of the positive reviews are fake. I have been seeing Dr. Alonso for many years and have seen the office go down. The manager and Dr. Alonso are never there and doesn?t spent any time with me and when I talk to him, he is looking at his cell phone. No one answers the phone or they put you on hold and then hang up the phone on you. No one calls you back or knows what?s going on. I am going to find a new rheumatologist.
