Dr. Carlos Chaban, MD

Normaly pretty good about seeing their patients on time. The Doctors are very thorough and explain what is wrong in a understanding way. I drive about 10 miles to take my 3 kids to be seen by Dr. Chaban and have no problem doing so.

Worst staff! They need an intensive training on patient experience. Keep reading the reviews, speak themselves.

Exelente doctor

Most of the negative reviews are regarding Dr. Chaban's office staff. We've spoken to him about this, he listened and took care of it. If you're looking for a Pediatrician who really knows medicine, listens to your concerns, takes time to thoroughly examine your child, and explains everything in detail then I highly recommend. Dr. Chaban. He is always right on target with his diagnosis.

Dr. Chaban is great I have been taking my kids there for years

Consistent hour plus wait times even with an appointment. Nurse NEVER returns calls. Never see the same Dr twice and have to explain issues over and over again. I think I have seen Dr Chaban twice even though I ask for him when setting up appointments. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but my child and I have suffered enough. Look elsewhere.

Great Doctor! My kids love him , we just recently met Doctor Hale the new Doctor and we think he's great. Wonderful personality and down to earth and gets the job down. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Dr, Chaban is a great Dr. I have been seeing him for my children now for about 5 years now. yes, sometimes the wait is quite a while, but come on,that is when it is usually the flu season! He spends enough time with you when you have questions that need answers and explains them thoroughly. Once when he thought my son had a problem with his heart, he called a specialist to get me in to see him the very next day. He treats his patients with love and care and remembers their names as soon as you walk into the back, without even looking at their charts. He does have a lot of patients, so that should tell you something about his practice, the only drawback that I see is that it is so far away from me, but I have no problem driving that distance if it means that HE sees my child.

We have been seeing Chaban for the past 2 years and have finally had enough!!!! I did not change because I was hoping it would get better and wanted some continuity of care for my children. His staff is very unprofessional. They speak to each other in Spanish right in front of you. Not customer service oriented at all. His staff is rude and non-caring. The girl at the front desk and the office manager are very rude. Chaban does not care that his staff is substandard. Dr Chaban has his Medical assistants identifying themselves as nurses. They are not nurses. Medical assistants (MA) are techs/ nurses assistances- NOT NURSES. They are not licensed as nurses. Do not let them give your child an injection! He also reuses the disposable plastic black tip used on the instrument that is used to examine the ears and throat on other patients. He has his staff rewash them!!!! GROSS!!!! The bathrooms are without soap and toilet paper. This rating is mostly due to the unprofessional… behavior of his office staff and he sits by without resolving the issues. His staff does not care about his patients. Makes me feel he is only in this for the money.

I would not trust your family to this doctor- treats staff horrible and lacks compassion and his demeanor is arrogant and rude.
