Dr. Carlos Jose Lira, MD

I have to say, I like Dr.Lira, but the recepcionist he has is terrible, very unprofessional lady and rude, I only hope is doesn't start losing patients just because of her, NOT customer service at all, reading the previous rating I see why. She called me one time and because I cancel an appointment with the doctor she hanged up the phone on me. Like I said very unprofessional lady, if she doesn't know how to work in that type of environment then I have not idea what is she doing there.

I am so disappointed i have a history of anxiety and depression i was seeing this doctor for a while he was refilling my medications i have to change my insurance i called them to see i can have refills for my medication,, i spoke to Patrica the receptionist i believe is the doctors wife she told me she can not prescribe me the medication when she should know i depend on this medication or i will end up in the hospital she told me i have to go there and have a text done wish i completely understand but the think she should have at least call the pharmacy and give me some until i was able to see her here is the thing honesty i hesitate to speak to this woman she is very rude and very pushy i gave them the opportunity because i need my medication but i really had it with her unprofessional should keep this woman away from the phone she lost 4 patients hope she never have a relative that really needs this kind of medications and understand she is very unpleasant rude and angry

Terrible when Dr. Inga passed away they canceled me as patient would not refill my medication when I needed it most .

I have been a patient of Dr. Lira's office for many years. I never have any trouble getting a sick appointment. I appreciate the niceness and courteousness of the doctor and staff. I have recommended many of my friends to him, as well.

I have been a patient of Dr.Lira for the past 10 years and my opinion is that he is an excellent Doctor, very professional, understanding, he explains everyting so well and really cares about you. That's very important!! I would not change to any other Doctor. It is true that 2-3 hours is required to be seen, even though you have an appointment, which sometimes is difficult, because I always try to make my appointments around lunch time from work, there were times I had to cancell and re-schedule. His staff is very helpful.

Dr Lira is very rude and impersonable. He hung up on me when I was inquiring about a follow up call to my father, who is a patient of Dr Lira's. I believe that this doctor is over looking a possible serious condition and doing my father a great disservice by not sending him to a specialist for further tests. Over all I am VERY dissatisfied with my experience. His office staff seems very pleasant however.
