Dr. Carlos S. Madamba, MD

I went to see the Dr. my first oncology appointment it was horrible, He has a very rude bedside manner and not professional at all! I was suppose to start chemotherapy but now will delay it due to having to find a new oncologist because I’m running from this place!

Arrogant is an understatement

I was in virtual marlton hospital a few months back for diabetics, iron infusions and other things, and Dr Carlos madamba came to call on me because I was one on his other doctors patients from his practice at Penn virtua, a Dr was in talking to me when he came in ,Dr madambo. And said he would be back, so when the other Dr left I ask the nurse if Dr madambo was still in the hospital and to tell him my other Dr had left because I had had a Dr say he would be back and did not come back, so I wanted to give him the curtacy of telling him the Dr had left. Well he came in to see me and started yelling at me and saying couldn't you wait 5 min for me to come back, so I explained about having a Dr before just leaving me .He yelled, well I am here aren't I.Then proceeded to ask questions I had no knowledge about, by that time he left I was crying so much for his berratement, the nurses had to calm me down I had asked the nurses if he came back I did not want him in my room but he came in the… next day with his same smug behavior, I waited for a form to come in the mail to ask about my stay but none came, so I am writing to you, I just wanted to tell you so no one goes thru what I had to, thank you for listening to me everyone in the hospital besides him were extremely nice and I would go back

My mother died FROM HER FIRST TREATMENT with Opdivo after Dr. MADAMBA RECOMMENDED IT. It was either due to a severe allergic response or a nurse miscalculated the dose. Very shameful, I wish we brought her to Cooper instead.

Arrogant, self centered, and rude!

Laughed at me more than once and even looked down at his watch for a couple minutes. A disgrace to the profession! Do not go to him unless you want humiliation and judgement!

I have been going to Dr. Madamba for approximately 3 years. I feel so comfortable speaking with him. He never rushes through an appointment. Dr. M. always explains things thoroughly. My wait time has never been more than approximately 20-25 minutes and has a very courteous staff. I highly recommend Dr. Madamba, a true professional.

I felt that this doctor was somewhat upset why I was referred to the office. He felt that there was no concrete indication that I might have some type of cancer. He smirked as he made comments regarding why the main symptom expressed was such a concern by my primary doctor. Overall, if I would become ill I would not want this physician to treat me. Bedside manners and emphatic are two impt criterions that should always be met, especially for this type of medicine. Also, the receptionists should consider laughing so much while there are patients in the next open room receiving treatment. Bad first impressions; sufficient form me not to recommend this doctor.
