Dr. Carlos Tomas Jorge Martinez, DO

Dr.Martinez cared for my mother dor many years with pain management. She suffered with chronic pain for many years prior to his care. He made sure she had the right pain meds and was very detailed and followed all meds prescribed to her and made sure they would not counteract against each other or she was over dosing on meds. This was extremely important to me. He made it clear what we both needed to do and her explained her needs as i cared for her at home. He always talked directly to her to make sure he understood her pain and consulted with me to explain to me what i needed to do. I thank him for all his help with my mother and easing her pain through out the years.

A pain management doctor that doesn't prescribe pain meds....how does that help a variety of patients. Too many doctors won't treat because to afraid of new federal rules and fines.

I thought he was a great doctor he has helped me more than any P.M doctor I've seen, he found things even my neurologist overlooked, I'm still struggling to find a doctor that helped me as much as he did. I would definitely recommend him, he's a nice doctor that actually cares and has a very nice staff. That's very hard to find.

Dr. M diagnosed my problem when the entire staff at SACH overlooked what was staring them in the face, they just didn't want to see it. His staff is always professional and friendly without being intrusive. Willingness to try alternative therapies, meds and procedures have kept me in forward motion. He will sit and talk with you about how you are doing, not just the diseased part of you. An excellent healer. Negative comments posted must have been just a bad day as I've never witnessed such an event.

I have been a patient of Dr. Martinez for a few years now. He is very professional and always helpful in the treatment of my pain issues. He is not only there to push medications, but treat the entire problem but recommending physical therapy, braces, injections or any other therapy that will help me improve my quality of life. I can not disagree more with the negative reviews on this site. He has always been extremely courteous, answered questions, and taken the time to help me in every way.

I liked the dr after sev visits, but he still needs far more experience with all tyes of pain; especially if it's not common. but I found last year that appts. were shorter and shorter and I couldn't say what I wanted to; staff never follows up with appts or injectionns and one staff member is rude, condesending, impatient and just plain, well not nice! She shouldn't be in that field...at all! I've found another Dr. this last year and the staff is soooo nice and kind as is the Dr.!

Dr. Martinez was thorough and interacted with my PCP to confirm a diagnosis and treatment plan. His staff is professional and sensitive to clients effecting a smoother and more efficient appointment.

Dr. Martinez was very patient with me and helped treat my pain after many others could not offer relief in the area. The doctor and his staff were helpful and humble. I couldn't disagree more with the other review/rating.
