Doctor Carlos Medina is an excellent physician and human being, He is caring, polite and very patient. I have been his patient for several years and undergone two surgeries under his experienced hands. I truly recommend him highly not only as a physician but also as a surgeon.

I went to see Dr. Medina 3 years ago, with a large fibroid and a cystocele. He advised a full hysterectomy with no evidence of malignancy present, in addition to the cystocele repair and fibroid removal. In a few months the cystocele was present again. On his second attempt to repair it I was left with a rectocele. He had seen that the walls of my vaginal canal were very thin, but he didn't address it. I know confirm that after a hysterectomy there is a greater chance of pelvic organ prolapse, particularly following a prolapse repair. I now face another surgery to repair the rectocele, address the thinning walls and reconstruct/strengthen the muscles, wall, ligaments in that pelvic area, addressing the issues that Dr. Medina ignored twice.
